The Jags pulled a mild upset as three-point dogs less than a month ago when they defeated the Titans, 36-22, in the Music City. But now the venue shifts to Jacksonville and so too does the point spread as the Jags are now laying 6 ½ against a Titans club that will be led by a quarterback making only the second start of his career.
Joshua Dobbs made his starting debut last week when he connected on barely over 50 percent of his passes with one touchdown and one interception. The Titans' offensive line has been decimated by injuries and this will not only hinder Dobbs’ pass protection but shut down the running lanes for Derrick Henry.
The sharps are nibbling on the Titans but we are going join hands with the masses and back the favorite at a line just short of the second most critical number in football. Lay it and like it with the home chalk in this one before it drifts up to the magic seven.
