Temple vs Navy on 10/29 by Craig_Brown

Handicapper Analysis 0
Temple has lost their last three outings, the most recent being a 27-16 loss to Tulsa at home but covered as 14-point home dogs. But covering on the road has not been their strong suit, having lost all three games on the highway by a combined 121-32 margin and failing to cover in any of those contests.

The Middies check in with a 2-5 straight and 4-3 ATS record, identical to their opponents on Saturday. Last week they suffered a home loss to Houston, an 18-point loss as 2 ½ point underdogs, failing to cover the number for the first time in five games.

Navy has won and covered against Temple over the last two years but in this matchup, they are tagged as 13 ½ to 14 point home chalk, identical to the point spread from last season’s meeting between these teams when the Midshipmen claimed a 38-14 victory and easily cashed for their backers.

Navy will likely wear Temple out with their relentless ground attack, currently ranked 4th in the nation averaging 247.4 yards per game against Temple’s lackluster run-stop unit ranked 103rd allowing over 180 yards per game on average.
It’s a lot to lay but the results should be similar to last season so bet Navy and watch them cash.
