No Cup Race this week just Busch series which is in Mexico.
YTD Totals(Busch&Cup):
To win picks: (1-8) -1.75 units
Match-ups : (7-5) +5.45 units
Total units:---------+3.70
Picks to win:
Tough call here. No one guy stands out among 4 that I've been looking at.
Those 4 are: Scott Pruett, Denny Hamlin and Juan Pablo Montoya all listed at 5-1, and Boris Said at 5 1/2-1. I will be looking at this probably till around noon on Sunday before making a decision. If anyone has anything to add please feel free to do so.
Match-ups:
5.00 units Boris Said (-125 @ Olympic) over Ron Fellows
5.00 units Scott Pruett(-125 @ sportsbook.com) over Ron Fellows
Fellows is a good road-course driver but he has never had the success in Nascar(outside of Watkins Glen) that these other two have had.
Since 2005, Fellows has been in 8 total events(4 cup/4 busch). His results were 2 Top 10's but 6 finishes of 25th or worse. All road course races.
During the same period, Said(in the same 8 events) has 6 Top 10's (2 in the Top 5) and only 2 finishes of 25th or worse. For Pruett in 6 events 3 Top 10's(4 Top 15), and I think he is the smoothest of all road-course ringers. Also, starting on the pole will help.
Hopefully, the momentum from last Sunday will carry over.
