Jacksonville is a dangerous opponent for the Buccaneers right now. Jacksonville has been close to a win for the last four weeks and it´s only a matter of time before they get it. Jacksonville is the scrapiest 2-9 team that you will ever see and the good news for them is that they are starting to find some offense. Both of Jacksonville´s last two opponents failed to score more than 10 points. Now that they are playing defense, I think that elusive wins are ready to come. Byron Leftwich has struggled at times this year, like any rookie would but he has improved each week. This week is the week that I think he puts it all together and leads this football teams to victory.

Tampa Bay got a big win last week on national television v. the NY Giants. Perhaps they think that they have turned the corner now but I say they haven´t. Tampa Bay is too inconsistent. One week the offense fails the next week the defense takes a turn at failure. This week I think it´s Tampa´s defense that will fail to show. The Giants should have had two more touchdowns than they ended up with. There are still significant holes in this Tampa defense and I think Jacksonville can and will find them. Look for the Jags to move the ball, get some scores and get the win.

I feel Jacksonville could be dangerous here for 2 key reasons, but Leftwich definitely has nothing to do with it...................
1.Fred Taylor could run big on Tampa today
2.Jacksonville D will make every effort possible to be sure ex~Jag Keenan McCardell doesn't have any success today along with the rest of Tampa's passing game
But....... I feel Tampa is making that one last push to redeem their season and playoff push, and covers by 4

Away Record: Tampa Bay 3-2;

The Bucs, who are fourth in the NFC in pass offense (253.4 ypg),
Jacksonville's pass defense, which is 10th in the AFC (223.1 ypg),
Tampa Bay is second against the pass (171.9 ypg) and fifth against the run (109.6 ypg), while ranking second in scoring defense (15.8 ppg).

INCONSISTENT?????

The Bucs have just had the ball not bounce their way this season.. They are still solid on both offense and defense.. Look for Gruden to open his passing attack against a weak Jacksonville secondary.

Whity,
Bad day for me this morning!!
But I think TB is a better team against the JAX. Last week monday night, TB are playing tough and win it!! Why can't they do it this week??? They need to win this one and get a playoff hope alive. They got lot of talents players in the team on Defense and offense!! I think they will win outright!! I will see Jax throwing some INT to barber!!
28-14 TB win!!!

LSU Pete- Definately have to agree with you. One more thing to add, the last 2 weeks, the Jags defense has been stout. They held the Titan's and Jet's offenses to very low scores. I know many people think the Jets stink, and, well, they do, but, their offense was really rolling going into the game. They did whatever they wanted against both the Giants and the Colts, and, I was really, really impressed with how well the Jags played against them, in the Meadowlands. The only thing that scares me here is I could see the Jags hanging tough, but going for some 4th downs and not making it, and making some bone head plays and losing by like 7 or 10, even if they play the Bucs pretty much straight up.

Tampa Bay has recorded 24 sacks this season, while the Jags have surrendered 24 sacks.

I'll take a TB win between 3-8 points for my last leg of a 5-team TP and a 2-team teaser. I just love it when there is no way to lose but so much to win
