I personally don't agree with what these players doing. I think they are going about this the wrong way and it's disrespectful. Yes, there are problems with race in this country. As there are in most other western countries as well. But it could be worse. These players could be in a 3rd world country or a 1st world one where your civil liberties are restricted like China/ Russia. Perhaps I can appreciate the US flag more because I come from a country (argentina) where in the 80s if you spoke out against the country (or did a public act like these players) you'd simply dissapear as an enemy of the state.
I do wonder if given the choice of exchanging their wealth for a perfect utopia without racial discrimination, whether any of these players would make that trade...
