I know I don't have a "rep" here, but Toney wins this fight. He's the better boxer-fighter simple as that. good luck, nj.

agreed on the "better fighter" aspect..by a long shot.....but,taking into account all the peripheral stuff, i think laying the juice in this fight is a tough thing to do....

good to see some newer boxing guys weighing in....it`s getting a little lean in this forum...

best of luck...

have no problem laying the juice in baseball, won't have a problem doing it in this spot either. Good Luck to you, nj.

not much...took ruiz by decision at +288...i can`t cap ruiz...period....

i hope to hit a nice parlay with monshipour, luis perez and ivan calderon laying 3 to win 2..if calderon doesn`t wet the bed......had perez under 11.5 for a decent wager...

still,ruiz has me beat.....

ruiz and stoney befuddled me totally.....no fire from stoney....some whispering in the corner...very weird.......no right hands for rounds at a time from ruiz....maybe because toney countered the right hand at will.......still,you have to use both hands......he looked exhausted despite a leisurely pace...very little wrestling...

are we sure that was ruiz in there?...and stoney?...lol

stoney kept telling him to jab...and nothing about the right hand that never followed the jab......???

well,i`m satisfied....no more ruiz....thank you james toney....

but,how the hell did rahman, oquendo, golota and kirk johnson not beat ruiz?....

i put the small bet ON ruiz by decision.......after losing a few times going against him...he`s absolutely as terrible as i`ve said many times before....toney`s excess baggage wasn`t a factor...because ruiz did nothing...he abandoned his putrid style....and showed himself as basicallly helpless in the ring without clinching and fouling....

he fights a guy that i think is one of the most skillful guys in boxing....and i take a pass because of his weight...i should have cleaned up...

well, spank me and call me nelly...

i have to admit....i can`t handicap this geek.....lol......

i`m glad the ruiz charade is over,though...

congrats to toney bettors....it`s good for the division that toney won....

Ruiz looked spooked in there after about the 4th round. He couldnt handle the hand speed and the counter punching. He looked the same way in the jones fight. I think Stoney knew there was nothing he could do in there. John doesnt have the skills to handle that.
