With the Colts coming off BB divisional home wins (SU and ATS) and are facing a non divisional foe away and are favored I will look to use the “due up due down” handicapping tool. This tool states to, play against any road favorite after BB div wins SU and ATS, and the road fav must have a power rating three to five points higher than its starting power rating. While my own power ratings are not perfect I had the Colts at 16 to start the season and currently at close to 20. The Colts may be in for a let down here and could be on the “due down”. While I cannot take credit for developing this tool the system has been a consistent winner over the long haul. Although it would be ideal if the Colts were favored by more my notes tell me teams often are less charged up after BB Div wins and are not as emotionally charged up for the game ahead. This is a big game for the Saints and they are desperate to have their best outing of the season. I will back the home dog against an AFC team that may not have the focus to win tonight. The above system was 5-1 ATS through out the season last year.
