I am still in, but I wont play if the entry is only $100, we need to keep it at $200. Why dont we do this, have everyone post up by Monday and we actually see how close we come!

Vinni, I really think that you need to shut the hell up and let this tournament begin. Here are the rules.

You get to play 10 games a week. The player who wins more money from a moneyline basis wins the match and advances. IT CANT be much easier than that!!!!!!!

On that note, how can it be hard for someone to place their picks even if they are out of town. HAS ANYONE ever heard of KINKOS?????

Or any other internet cafe to place your bets. Hell about 75% of hotels have internet access in your room for a small fee

Yeah I'm a newbie, but promoting and promoating and promaotion and the motion of the ocean are all inter-twined.

The crystal ball says that I can buy a piece of paper at KINKO's for 3 cents. Thus, saving me $149.97. How's that for a stab in the dark.

You cant be new because 'cause vvv mispelled the journey spelling of promote. Yet, you spelled it 'correctly'

And Doc-

I know why I'm home and typing, but at 2 am in NYC and Manhattan to boot, you should really get out a little more.

Not that I need to explain myself, but I was home watching the Dodger game. And...I need to wake up early for a day trip. But yes, I should be out on this beatiful evening, otherwise.

I've been to both NOBU and NOBU next door. Miso Cod is signature. Nonetheless, quality has diluted in the past 4 years and its turned into a corporate/tourist/ooh ahh establishment. Want better fish? Try Le Bernardin. Eric Ripert is a master when it comes to cooking from the sea. He's able to really use fish directionally and create a confluence of flavors thats not to be forgotten.

BTW, next time you're at NOBU take a walk about one block south and try Chantarelle. You'll thank me later.

Well can do one better and the cabbage saved will allow you to make it to Vegas.

Try 71st and Broadway. There is a little Weiner stand that may tickle your fancy. It has been known to serve up some serious links.

You're thinking Grays Papaya on 72 and Bway. You can get a 'recession special' (two dogs and papaya juice) for $1.95

I havent eaten a hotdog in years, but I used to frequent Grays all the time when drunk. They still have the yellow hand painted sign outside from yesteryear which reads "BETTER THAN FILET MIGNON"

Yeah missed it by one block.

I think we should leave this lovely thread since it's not tourney related. We want to give the promoater his proper due. Nice chatting with you Doc and if you're in Vegas looking forward to buying you a Dr. Browns Cel-Ray, ON ME OF COURSE

I can already tell you have a passion for food like I do. I love Dr Browns Celray. Next time you're in NY I'll take you to Abe Lebewohls (RIP) 2nd Ave deli for the best pastrami (MUST BE ORDERED FATTY, NOT LEAN) sandwich you've ever had. With a side of Dr Browns, of course.

I'll most likely see you in LV. BTW, what is your regular posting handle here? You're not a newbie.
