Let's get some good ideas on props going: I'll start with A. Smith longest run from scrimmage UNDER 16.5 yards (intertops) and Carolina to convert a 4th down (+155)

A bit pricey but: Will both teams make a field goal? Yes -300

Will Delhomme complete 16.5 passes? Yes +100

Will David Givens score a TD? No -154

I don't know about the price, -118(no), but this sticks way out for me; Will Panthers score over 16.5 points in the game? I don't think over 13.5, but I don't know about the arithmetic of it. It's just the way I see the game, Panthers under 16.5!
Good luck for the rest of time.

Under 16.5? I say take the opposite and take it big. Panthers over 16.5. You might have to lay -125 but trust me this is a winner.

almly,
considering you talk as if you are a sharp, I'm surprised you are falling for a square bet.

I like the first score to be a NE Touchdown (+140) at CanBet. NE has opened the game with a TD against both Tennessee and Indy.

Under 4.5 sacks -130 at OLY. Carolina doesn't pass enough and Pats will use mostly short drops to negate Panther pass rush. Best I see so far. -120 at Guardian for same.

Almly said you might have to lay -125 to go over 16.5??? The first place I went to I saw 15.5 -120. But my question is why does Carolina HAVE to score that many points? NE has held teams to 14 pts or fewer 10 times including 2 for 2 against more High powered offenses than Carolina presents. Granted that was at home but I don't see where the Carolina offense will be exploiting NE regardless of game location.

Odds are expensive but seem off at WSEX:

WILL GAME BE DECIDED BY EXACTLY 3 POINTS?

YES +325
NO -450

I figured no better than 1 in 7 chance which makes NO a good bet.

really like that "under 6 1/2 players to catch a pass" for Carolina. Of course the Pats have a great pass D, and, I looked at the last 10 games played by Carolina, and i think there were only 2 where they went over 6. A lot of 6's, but that's a win. On the other side, throw in a misdirection play designed specifically for the Superbowl and it could slip over 6. And if they fall behind too far they'll have to resort to the pass, but, the odds are -110 so it still looks good.

DELHOMME UNDER 16 1/2 Completions -119.

This is a sweet bet.
He only threw 19 passes TOTAL against the Eagles. They should pound the ball all day. And even if they go down big, and are forced to pass, the Pats secondary should pick him apart.

Sweet bet.

Some props from WSEX:

# of Arsenal + Manchester City goals +.5 (-130) over Total Patriots TDs. Arsenal is about due for a goal explosion, and Man City has been both scoring and letting them in lately. Last year I bet a similar prop with Man Utd goals over Rich Gannon TD passes, and the soccer match ended 6-0. If this year's soccer game produces even 3 goals (which it probably will), I think this play will be a winner. I think there will be a lot more FGs than TDs for both teams this Sunday, which brings me to...

Total made FGs by both teams over 3.5 (+110). I'm not really sure how the over is the dog here, but I'll gladly take it. Considering how good these two defenses are, this game could very well come down to the kickers...and both of them can nail FGs from long range. I think you'll see at least 4 made FGs this game, probably 5.

Carolina Full Game points -4 over Patriots first half points. I think the Panthers will pull this one out something like 19-16, and they can hold NE to 14 or under for the first half.

Will there be a score in the final 3:30 of the game: Yes (-130). I can't remember a Super Bowl where there hasn't been a score in the last few minutes (even in the blowouts). OT counts too...and I think the late scoring trend continues.

New England punts (-160) before they score. It'll take a while to probe the Panther D. Unless the Pats get a turnover deep in Panther territory, I don't think they'll march down and score right off the bat.

more to follow...
