Philly -7 (NYG)... McNabb/Owens should have a field day vs. this Giants secondary. Philly is playing to sew up the division today. Atlanta is hot on their heels for home field. Expect Jim Johnson to blitz the hell out of young Eli. He shouldn't have much time to get passes off today and that is going to lead to turnovers, short fields, and points for the birds.
Clev +6 (Cincy).. I have seen plenty of support for Cincy on the board today but just can't go that direction. Palmer is playing well for the cats, but that D is still one of the worst in the league. Suggs is a ? with turf toe, but there is no drop off in W. Green at TB. With Holcomb under center I expect this Browns offense to put a few more points on the board. It's the same thing they went through when Couch was there. Expect an outright Cleveland win today.
Minny -6 (Jax)... Moss is back (I think), and they are at home again, vs. a rusty Leftwich for Jax. I know the Minny D has more holes then they have plugs to fill em', but I swore I wouldn't go against C-pepper any more! Gotta take the home team in a must win. The Vikes know that GB has the conference momentum going. Although I think Tice is an idiot for the record.
Carolina +3 (Tampa)... Delhomme is fine and this team is showing signs of life. Last week they couldn't win at home and they destroyed the Cards (came into the game a littel banged up). I expect to see the old Griese today when that solid front 7 from Caro get on him quickly!! Tampa has used the run to set up the pass in the last few weeks. I expect they will find that road a little tougher to hoe this week. If Pittman can't get anything going and when/if they fall behind and have to rely on the pass, they are gonna be in trouble. Mush M. is having a monster season for Carolina and Goings was the O player of the week. Tampa has a good D, but I'll take the points and the home dog in an outright win today!
