-Mallorca vs Real Zaragoza-
This game is massive for Zaragoza. A win will ensure them La Liga status next season, and anything less will pretty much see them relegated. Mallorca want the win for the UEFA Cup place, but even without it they are in the Interto Cup no matter the result. The fact is, Zaragoza is a great squad and no one would have ever thought they would be in this situation by the end of the season. They played great against Real Madrid last week and deserved the win, I'm sure they'll take it this time around. This will be my sixth 5 unit bet of the season (3-1-1 record with 5 unit bets this season).

This is the same situation for Osasuna as it is for Zaragoza, a win will assure them a place in La Liga next season. They will probably have more heart on the pitch and keep their stay in La Liga for next season.

If there is an early goal in this game then you can bet it will be one crazy open game. The over seems like a good shot to take as both teams want the points. The way I look at it is, whoever loses this game will get relegated into the Segunda Division next season. Lets see the goals pile up.

Roma have come too far to slip up. They are 1 point away and if Parma hold Inter then they can claim the Scudetto. I really think they take it and I have a feeling Parma will be giving the Inter players the upset of their lives.

GL Kid...sort of agree with you on Zaragoza except they looked absolutely horrified after the match last week while Mallorca were in great spirits after their Camp Nou comeback. IMO some teams just cannot get it going no matter how much talent and drop when they should not

also, a draw for Zaragoza is likely not good enough so would recommend outright win over +1/4 if you really like them. They lose the tiebreaker to both Valladolid and Osasuna but ahead of Recre who play at home

Zaragoza's only prayer, IMO, is to win outright. If they win they are saved because any combo of results in Recre/Valldolid are fine for them

I'd stick to the overs in the must win matches like Fiorentina, AC Milan, and Roma. Its risky taking all the games in Serie A to go over, Italian teams have always been known as defensive minded teams


Rolltide, you have the right idea about Zaragoza with the moneyline wager, I've just been screwed too many times with draws so I like to take the +1/2 bets whenever they are around with decent odds. In Zaragoza's case I would have to agree with you though, a win is the only option for them

Probably way too late here but Kid I read somewhere Mallorca didn't apply for the Intertoto Cup at the beginning of the year. The article claimed the Intertoto spot is either going to Deportivo or Bilbao. So in that case Mallorca still have real motivation to win this match. Agree with Rolltide too on the body language/spirit thing. Zaragoza looked like they had been relegated last week.

Anywho the pitch at last check is waterlogged, should be a very interesting game.
