ANALYSIS: Sunday game. Once again the books are opening the Mets rather low and once again I expect this to rise quite a bit by first pitch barring obviously a key injury in today's game, etc. Mets starter Carlos Carrasco was 3-1 with a 3.14 ERA last year against Miami. With Johnny Cueto already hurt, the Marlins are expected to start Braxton Garrett but it honestly doesn't much matter on their end to me because it's not going to be Sandy Alcantara or Jesus Luzardo.

ANALYSIS: The Tigers have lost the first two games of this series and are 2-6 on the season. However, this might be the matchup that they need to get back on track. Starting for the Red Sox will be Kutter Crawford, who has a career 6.37 ERA and 1.52 WHIP. He was smoked by the Pirates in his first start this season, allowing seven runs and three home runs across four innings. Last season, he was taken deep 12 times over just 77 1/3 innings. Taking the mound for the Tigers will be Matthew Boyd, who limited the Astros to two runs over 4 1/3 innings in his first start. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Tigers win this game, but I’ll take the cautious approach and just roll with them to cover the run line.

ANALYSIS: Do we dare do it again? The Rays have been an ATM in the early going, winning all eight of their games by at least four runs. In this series, they have outscored the Athletics 20-5. The Rays will turn Sunday to Drew Rasmussen, who followed up his 2.84 ERA and 1.04 WHIP last season by shutting out the Nationals over six innings in his season debut. Starting for the Athletics will be James Kaprielian, who allowed five runs to the Guardians over five innings in his first start. I’ll roll with this again.

ANALYSIS: The Rays aren't just winning games, they are throttling the opposition. More impressive than the 8-0 record is that they've won every single game by at least four runs and in all have outscored their opponents 64-18. Things won't be much different Sunday. The A's are one of the worst teams in baseball and the Rays are one of the best. Rays starter Drew Rasmussen has a 2.64 ERA in his career as a starter and the Rays' bullpen hasn't even been remotely taxed. A's starter James Kaprielian was knocked around by the Guardians in his first start and the A's bullpen is brutal. Bloodbath coming. Take the run line (-1.5, -130).
