I have really been looking at these games, and I still wouldnt bet on the underdogs in these games.
Eagles-Vikings - Week 2 featured a good game, that was not as high scoring as people expected. The Eagles controlled the game with a strong running game, and good decisions from McNabb. Vikings were in the middle of a 5-1 start, and since then have went 4-7 counting the Wildcard win. Now everybody is on them, but lets look at why. They beat the Packers last week, a team that barely beat them twice by 3. Favre threw 4 INT's folks, 4!!!. And the Packer D leaves alot to be desired.
I really dont think it was the Vikings, as it was the weak Packers team was just exploited last week. The Eagles are a much better all around team, one of the best during the regular season. Even without T.O. they are a much better team. The Vikings are on their 3rd straight road game, Moss is banged up, and the Eagles are very healthy. If the Eagles arent rusty, they will control this game and win by 14-20 points. I really can see the Vikings running out of gas here, and if they get down early, things should start to unravel like usaul.

Colts-Patriots - Colts are the publics choice here, as their offense is on a roll, and the Patriots secondary has many injuries and players out. Looks like the recipe for Disaster. IF we all took a deep breathe and said who is the better all around team, I think alot of people would pick the Patriots. I know I would. They may not have Manning and Harrison, but they have a much, much better Defense after the injuries. Patriots are also at home, and it will be cold tonight. Now I just have a question for people on the Colts. Not starting arguements or anything like that, but why wouldnt you take the better team, at home, at a Pk line in the playoffs. Its not very often you get one of the best teams in football at such a gift line. I will be taking the Pats tonight, pretty big, because I know they will win. And if the Colts did somehow win, I will sleep better knowing I took the better team, like I did last night with the Falcons and Steelers. I really cant see going against the better all around team at home for anything more than a small fun bet. These are just my opinions so take them for what its worth. Im sure people will have some good thoughts on these games, and I welcome it.

I really hope alot of people cashed in today. Next weeks games look alot tougher to pick. Its early, but i love Pittsburgh at +3.5, buying the 1/2. T.hat will be a close game. I also love Atlanta +4.5, but Its hard to project what Vick will show up
