In his first game since the season opener, Robert Griffin III finished 12-for-28 for 104 yards in a 23-10 loss to the Bengals — the Browns 13th loss in 13 games. Griffin was sacked three times and didn't top 100 yards until the final seconds of the game when things were settled. In his two starts, Griffin is 24-for-54 for 294 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
49ers CB Jimmie Ward was fired up to play against Jets WR Brandon Marshall after Marshall beat him for three touchdowns with Chicago in 2014. Ward already much-improved from that outing, jumping a Bryce Petty out pass for an interception to give the Niners the ball at New York's 7. The Niners quickly convert with a 7-yard touchdown pass from Colin Kaepernick to Carlos Hyde.
Rex Ryan's seat is heating up rapidly as the Bills fall, 27-20, to the Steelers.
