The Bills have not figured out Le'Veon Bell, who has 125 total yards and two touchdowns to give the Steelers a 14-7 halftime lead. But the Steelers offense is forcing the pass and it's keeping Buffalo in the game - a two-to-one run/pass ratio in the snow is risky. Turnovers are the only thing that stand to stop Pittsburgh, which is bursting through the line of scrimmage and daring Tyrod Taylor to beat the defense deep.

They made some mistakes, but that was a near-perfect first half for the Titans in the big picture. Big effort on the ground, ball control/time of possession game for the Titans, just like they surely drew it up. Used the wind to their favor in the first quarter, but still had a big second-quarter FG drive. Biggest disappointment is the lead isn't bigger given the degree of control Tennessee has had of this game. Up 13-0 at intermission in Nashville. Titans get kickoff to start the third quarter.

The Colts spent the days leading up to their game against Houston talking about needing to play with a Game 7 mind frame. After 30 minutes, the Colts trail the Texans 13-3 and they're playing like they don't want to win the AFC South. Quarterback Andrew Luck has thrown an interception, the Texans have done an exceptional job of blanketing the Colts receivers and Houston is pounding the Colts in the running game, as they've rushed for 94 yards already. Winner of this game is in control of the AFC South. The loser has a long road to cover in a short period to get back in the playoff race.

The Bengals are shutting out the Browns at halftime. That's a trend. Cincinnati's last four shutouts have taken place after Thanksgiving in Cleveland — 30-0 in 2014, 14-0 in 2008, 30-0 in 2006 and 21-0 in 1989.

At the half Broncos trail 13-0 and Titans will get the ball to open the second half. Titans have 138 yards rushing and have pounded the ball 26 times at the Broncos defense. Broncos have just 12 yards rushing of their own as they have been in throw-first mode. Trevor Siemian is 13-of-18 passing for 113 yards and the Broncos offense is now 1-of-17 on third down conversions over last six quarters.

Item of note with Julio Jones now listed as out. Matt Ryan has 16.3 YPA on vertical passes to Taylor Gabriel, which is higher than his 14.5 vertical YPA on throws to Jones (vertical defined as aerials thrown 11+ yards downfield). It could make Gabriel a very good upside fantasy start.

How bad was the first half for the Cardinals offensively? They committed four turnovers – two INT and two fumble – missed a FG and a PAT, and yet kicker Chandler Catanzaro hit a 56-yard field goal in the final two minutes to pull Arizona within 14-9 at halftime. The Cardinals' defense played well enough to hold the Dolphins to just two touchdowns despite prime field position throughout the game. The weather played a factor in the first half, too. Two torrential downpours highlighted the first two quarters and made the football difficult to throw, catch and carry.

The San Diego Chargers trail the Carolina Panthers 23-7 at halftime. San Diego trailed 23-0 before Philip Rivers connected with Hunter Henry for a 9-yard score, the team's largest deficit this season. San Diego trailed the Atlanta Falcons 27-10 earlier this year but managed to come back and win. I don't see a similar result happening here. Chargers have just 117 yards of total offense and have turned it over three times.
