2004: 37-23 6 Straight winning days, may need a sweep here unless I add a play.

PURDUE +9

This game has a total of 118, so it should be a low scoring game, so the extra 9 points should come in handy. Purdue plays bigtime defense, so they should be able to keep this game at a slow pace and at a low score. Even though Gene Keady said he has been working on the fast break, bla, bla, bla, they won't be fast breaking any. Earlier this year at Purdue, Purdue won something like 52-50, so I'm looking for another low scoring game. Purdue also playing for their tourney lives, while Wiconsin still playing for the Big 10 Championship.

NC STATE -4

This line seems low, Sagarin power ratings have it at 5.5/6. UNC beat NC State at UNC by 2 earlier this year and now NC State gets to work some revenge. If UNC could play hard for 40 minutes they could be tough, but all that running leads into some lazy defense, I'll give the short number.

I can't believe NC State is holding at 4, expected it to be 5 today and maybe higher. I must be missing something?

matt,

No hard feeling from yesterday as I was not trying to ruffle yours or Karec feathers. I just saw that both of you were from Brownstown,IN and was asking if you knew each other as it looked strange. Sorry, and once again, I want to add that you have been a definite positive of late on the forum. Best of luck today.

Thats alright Kojak. Whats the deal with the alma mater, they are letting me down. They aren't even playing good defense today.

HAWAII -4

I liked this at first glance last night, but the first thing I checked was Sagarin and Sagarin has Hawaii only by 1.5, so that scared me off right away. But with NY Reb making it a big play and Co-Cap who should know what is up with Hawaii as a big play makes me like it. Rice has not been to special on the road lately. They didnt cover last time out, but the times before that lost by 11,43, and 25. That is terrible.

I sort of liked Duke, I am so glad I didnt bet them, that last shot would have made me sick(sort of like the NCState finish to screw my 2nd half play), I already hate F$U.
