Well my 2-0 Thursday start was spoiled by a 2-5 mark yesterday.

4-5 YTD.

Saturday Wins: Nebraska, Colorado
Saturday Losses: Duke, Clemson, South Florida, Auburn and Miss State.

I can't complain about bad beats when 3 of my losers got shut out (2 of them at home no less).

I have to get back on my horse here.

Kentucky (-5')

U of L is breaking in a new QB (Stefan Lefors) in his first start on the road. Lefors is only 6 feet tall; whereas, Ragone was about 6-3' and he had a ton of balls batten down LY vs UK. Ragone was only 14-for-39 last season. On defense they only return 2 starters in their front 7 and 1 out of 4 in the secondary.

The Cards were also -15 in turnover margin last season.

U of L also has a new coach (Bobby Petrino). Petrino's one meeting against UK was when he was the OC in 1998 and the Cats beat the Cards 68-34 in Louisville.

I also don't like it that the Cards cannot run the ball (104th in the nation last year). They only had a 100-yd rusher in 2 of 13 games last season. In fact they have only had a 100-yd rusher 9 times in the last 3 years (38 total games).

UK is still tough to prepare for b/c of the passing attack led by Jared Lorenzen and the option attack led by Shane Boyd.

HD,
Great info. I am all over the "Hefty Lefty" today.
Louisville was supposed to have a great D last year when the returned 10 starters, and they stunk! Ragone was a heisman hopeful and he sucked! I think the Cats learned a lesson in the loss to LSU last year and in this heated rivalry game, the better, more experienced, and home team wins easily.

I like Kentucky by 17. I can see a 34-17 Final.
