Sunday's comp play goes on the wrecking ball that is the Golden State Warriors.

Cleveland may be the defending champions, but Golden State sure as hell is looking like the team that wants to reclaim the title they won two seasons ago.

The addition of superstar Kevin Durant adds a dimension to the Warriors that they did not have last season, and after comfortably coasting to a 113-91 win on Thursday night, Golden State is now a perfect 13-0 this postseason, with 11 of those 13 wins coming by double-digits.

Cleveland will try and make some adjustments to keep Durant from driving to the basket uncontested, but they had better then guard against the three-point shot that is so deadly for the Warriors.

I don't know, any way you slice it, I see this one getting away from Cleveland much the same way it got away from them on Thursday night.

The oddsmakers know what they are doing with this price, so don't allow the temptation of backing LeBron James plus near double-digits get the better of you.

This one is all Warriors.

3* GOLDEN STATE

MLB | White Sox vs Tigers
Play on: White Sox +185 at 5Dimes

Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach MLB Free Pick Sunday Chicago White Sox Money Line (+) @ Detroit Tigers @ 1:10 ET - White Sox southpaw David Holmberg has been great out of the bullpen this season with a 2.51 ERA in about 14 innings of work as a reliever. As a result, the ChiSox rewarded him with a start against the Red Sox and though he only went 4 innings and allowed 3 earned runs he actually gave up just 2 hits in that outing. I feel there is great value being offered here with Holmberg as a big dog in early Sunday action. Justin Verlander gets the start for the Tigers and he is off of a strong start at Kansas City. However, prior to that outing, Verlander had a 5.84 ERA in his 4 prior starts combined. The point is that he truly has not been that dominant of late and the White Sox are hungry to avoid the sweep here. Prior to this series, the White Sox had won 6 of their last 8 meetings with the Tigers and the ChiSox are 12-8, +$6,700 in day games this season despite yesterday's loss. As for Detroit, they are just 26-34, -$6,700 in Sunday games the past 3 seasons combined. Also, the Tigers have lost 6 of the last 9 starts that Verlander has made and I feel they are very over-priced in this spot. Free Pick on the Chicago White Sox on the money line as a big dog early Sunday afternoon. Best of luck, Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach

NBA | Cavs vs Warriors
Play on: Cavs +9 -105 at Bovada

Cavaliers +8.5

This play just missed out on our premium card. The Cavaliers and Warriors face off on Sunday and I think the visitors have a lot of value on the spread. The Cavaliers got flat out embarrassed in game one and they will come out motivated in game two to at least make it a basketball game. The Warriors were really good with the ball in game and limited their turnovers. I think the Cavaliers will make that a focus in this game to force a few more turnovers.

I think we see playoff LeBron activated in this one and he will do anything he can to lead his team to victory and if not victory at least keep it close. Some trends to note. Cavaliers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 road games. Warriors are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 Sunday games.

Back the Cavs. Good Luck, Razor Ray.

MLB | Nationals vs A's
Play on: Nationals -105 at GTBets

I'm backing the Washington Nationals with Roark over Gray on Sunday. Washington had its four-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, but the Nationals still have won nine of their last 12 games and are 18-11 on the road. Oakland has lost six of its last eight and Bryce Harper returns from his suspension on Sunday. Tanner Roark is coming off two great starts allowing one run in 14 innings with 14 strikeouts and just one walk. The Nationals are 18-8 their last 26 games after a loss dating to last season and they have won 12 of Roark's last 17 road starts. Sonny Gray was clobbered for seven runs and nine hits in 4 2/3 innings on Tuesday in his sixth start since coming off the disabled list. The Athletics have lost nine of their last 12 interleague home contests and 17 of Gray's last 24 starts. We'll back the Nationals on Sunday. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.

Play - Atlanta Braves w/Teheran (Game 951).

Edges - Braves: Teheran 1.42 ERA and 1.01 WHIP away as opposed to 8.40 ERA and 1.80 WHIP home this season… Reds: Garrett 2-4 last six overall team starts… With Teheran 3-1 his last four starts in this series, look for him to improve to 2-0 here in his career team starts today. We recommend a 1* play on Atlanta. Thank you and good luck as always.

MLB | Cardinals vs Cubs
Play on: Cubs -156 at betonline

The Cubs are looking for some upward momentum in this pitching duel at Wrigley Field on Sunday night. They've gone 5-5 in their last ten games.
Chicago starter Hendricks retired the first 10 batters he faced in his last outing against the Padres, but served up a fourth-inning grand slam to Hunter Renfroe that cost the Cubs the game. Hendricks is 3-2 with a 2.81 ERA in his last seven starts.

The Chicago Cubs have been above average at home, posting a 16-11 record. Cardinals are 1-5 in their last 6 road games. We like Chicago to get a home win here on Sunday night baseball on ESPN.

GAME: New York Yankees (32-21) at Toronto Blue Jays (27-29)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 1:07 PM EST
WHERE: Rogers Centre, Toronto, Ontario
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

Perhaps the biggest reason why the New York Yankees lead the American League East -- the best division top to bottom in baseball -- is pitching, but home runs are also taking them a long way as they try to win a four-game set from the Blue Jays in Toronto on Sunday. New York prevailed 7-0 on Saturday, belting four solo home runs in the eighth inning by players not named Aaron Judge, and has outscored the Blue Jays 24-9 in winning two of the first three games of the series.

Judge leads the major leagues with 18 home runs, but it was Brett Gardner, Matt Holliday, Starlin Castro and Didi Gregorius who did the damage Saturday, tying a club record for most homers in an inning. "We're getting it from all spots in the lineup, which is really nice," Yankees manager Joe Girardi told reporters about his club, which has belted 25 in the last 15 games. New York, which boasts the AL's second-best ERA at 3.76, is 3-3 on its seven-game trip through Baltimore and Toronto -- holding its own against teams expected to be in the race all season. The Yankees' Luis Severino is 2-0 with a 0.63 ERA in his past two starts and opposes Marcus Stroman, who is unbeaten in his last eight turns (5-0) but was roughed up at Yankee Stadium last month -- two days after the Blue Jays hit Severino hard.

TV: 1:07 p.m. ET, MLB Network, YES (New York), TVA Sports, Sportsnet-1 (Toronto)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Luis Severino (4-2, 2.93 ERA) vs. Blue Jays RH Marcus Stroman (6-2, 3.28)

Severino allowed one run, seven hits and one walk while striking out eight in 6 1/3 innings of New York's 8-3 victory in Baltimore on Tuesday. The 23-year-old Dominican hasn't yielded a home run in his last four starts and is unbeaten (2-0) with a 1.88 ERA over his past five outings. Severino is 0-3 with a 6.38 ERA in six appearances (five starts) versus Toronto, including a 7-1 loss May 1 when he permitted five runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Stroman allowed two runs, five hits and zero walks while striking out five in six innings of a 17-2 victory over Cincinnati on Monday. The 26-year-old New Yorker, who has permitted two runs or fewer in eight of 11 starts, yielded a home run to Judge among five runs, six hits and three walks in three innings of Toronto's 8-6 loss at Yankee Stadium on May 3. Stroman is 5-2 with a 2.91 ERA in nine starts against New York, including 1-1, 1.80 in three turns last season.

WALK-OFFS

1. Blue Jays C Russell Martin (neck) missed his third straight game Saturday but said he hopes to return Sunday.

2. Yankees CF Jacob Ellsbury was to take batting practice Friday, but instead will visit a neurologist Monday after suffering headaches again. Ellsbury suffered a concussion May 24 after crashing into the wall while making a catch.

3. Toronto SS Troy Tulowitzki (.250 this season, .291 career) is 5-for-23 with four walks and one strikeout in seven games since returning from the disabled list. He has a home run and four RBIs -- all from a grand slam in the 17-2 victory over Cincinnati on Monday -- during that span.

GAME: Chicago White Sox (24-30) at Detroit Tigers (27-28)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 1:10 PM EST
WHERE: Comerica Park, Detroit, Michigan
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Chicago White Sox's pitching staff has no answers for the Detroit Tigers' offense so far this weekend. The Tigers will try to post double-digit runs for the third straight game and earn a series sweep when they host the White Sox in the finale on Sunday.

Detroit pounded out 25 runs in the first two games, belting seven homers and collecting 33 hits in the process. The Tigers got production from up and down the lineup in the wins, with No. 9 hitter Jose Iglesias going 6-for-8 with six runs scored and three RBIs and No. 8 hitter Alex Presley belting a homer as part of a three-hit afternoon on Saturday. Chicago's pitching issues extend further back than the last two games, and the staff has allowed a total of 42 runs during a four-game slide. Attempting to end that run of tough luck on Sunday will be left-hander David Holmberg, who is getting a second straight turn in the rotation, while Detroit counters with ace Justin Verlander.

TV: 1:10 p.m. ET, CSN Chicago, FSN Detroit

PITCHING MATCHUP: White Sox LH David Holmberg (0-0, 2.51 ERA) vs. Tigers RH Justin Verlander (4-4, 4.50)

Holmberg earned himself a spot start on the strength of six straight hitless relief appearances and was solid against Boston on Monday, allowing three runs on two hits and three walks in four innings without factoring in the decision. The 25-year-old lasted 72 pitches and will be stretched further on Saturday depending on his results. Holmberg is making his first career appearance against Detroit.

Verlander has considerably more starting experience and was a tough-luck loser last time out, absorbing a loss despite yielding one run and six hits over seven innings at Kansas City. The loss was a nice bounce-back after the former MVP was knocked around for six runs in 5 2/3 innings at Houston in his previous outing. Verlander struck out a season-high 10 in 6 1/3 innings to earn a win at Chicago in the season opener and is 20-13 with a 3.82 ERA in 40 career starts against the White Sox.

WALK-OFFS

1. Tigers LF Justin Upton is 5-for-9 with four RBIs and four extra-base hits in the last three games.

2. Chicago LF Melky Cabrera is 0-for-11 with four strikeouts in his last three contests.

3. Detroit C Alex Avila homered in each of his last two starts and is batting .317.

GAME: Arizona Diamondbacks (34-24) at Miami Marlins (23-31)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 1:10 PM EST
WHERE: Marlins Park, Miami, Florida
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Miami Marlins have been playing much better baseball after a rough start to the season and they received another boost Saturday from Edinson Volquez’s no-hitter in a stirring 3-0 victory. The Marlins go after their third straight series victory and a seventh win in eight contests when they host the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon in the finale of a four-game set.

Volquez took center stage in the third game of the series, but Miami’s offense has been productive during a 9-4 stretch in which it has averaged almost six runs per contest and Justin Bour boasts seven RBIs in the last four, including two on Saturday. Vance Worley will try to follow up the sixth no-hitter in Marlins’ history with a strong effort and Arizona will counter with fellow right-hander Braden Shipley, who will be recalled after a sharp month at Triple-A Reno. The Diamondbacks are 5-5 with one encounter left on an 11-game road trip and were shut out for just the second time this season on Saturday, striking out 10 times. Nick Ahmed registered two of those strikeouts for Arizona, but has been one of the team’s hottest hitters of late while going 10-for-26 over the last seven games.

TV: 1:10 p.m. ET, FSN Arizona, FSN Florida (Miami)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Diamondbacks RH Braden Shipley (0-1, 6.75 ERA) vs. Marlins RH Vance Worley (0-2, 4.50)

With Taijuan Walker (blister) not yet ready to return, Shipley will be summoned to make his second start of 2017 after allowing three runs, five hits and six walks over four innings in a loss at Washington on May 4. “He has been throwing the ball really well,” Arizona manager Torey Lovullo told MLB.com. “We feel like he’s going to step in here, follow the game plan, and do exactly what we need him to do.” Shipley is 5-1 with a 3.93 ERA in nine minor-league starts this year.

Worley gets his third start with the Marlins after permitting five runs on eight hits and one walk over nine total innings in a pair of losses last month. The 29-year-old Long Beach State product, who pitched a scoreless inning in relief Tuesday against Philadelphia, was 2-2 with a 3.53 ERA in 35 appearances (four starts) with Baltimore in 2016. David Peralta is 3-for-6 with a homer versus Worley, who is 1-1 with a 2.05 ERA in four career starts against the Diamondbacks.

WALK-OFFS

1. Arizona 1B Paul Goldschmidt (13 homers, 43 RBIs) is 3-for-10 in the series after going 3-for-22 in his previous six games.

2. Miami RF Giancarlo Stanton is 9-for-19 with three homers and six RBIs during a six-game hitting streak, while Bour owns a seven-game hitting streak.

3. Diamondbacks 3B Jake Lamb, who leads the team with 14 homers and 46 RBIs, is just 1-for-10 in the series.

GAME: Atlanta Braves (23-30) at Cincinnati Reds (25-29)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 1:10 PM EST
WHERE: Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati, Ohio
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Cincinnati Reds look for a series victory entering Sunday’s home contest against the Atlanta Braves, but do so with questions surrounding two of their key offensive performers. Center fielder Billy Hamilton, who started the day leading the majors with 28 stolen bases, and right fielder Scott Schebler - whose 16 homers is tied for most in the National League - both left Saturday’s game with a strained left shoulder.

The Reds rallied from a 5-1 deficit to force extra innings, but the Cincinnati bullpen - which began Saturday leading the majors in innings pitched (210 2/3) - gave up Matt Adams’ go-ahead solo homer in the 12th inning. Adams, hitting just .222 in 11 games with the Braves after replacing the injured Freddie Freeman, hit a fifth-inning grand slam and finished with five RBIs as Atlanta won for just the second time in the past seven games. Braves third baseman Adonis Garcia matched a career high with four hits in his second game back from the disabled list. A win Sunday would give Atlanta only its second series victory in its past nine trips to Cincinnati.

TV: 1:10 p.m. ET, FSN South (Atlanta), FSN Ohio (Cincinnati)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Braves RH Julio Teheran (4-4, 4.82 ERA) vs. Reds LH Amir Garrett (3-3, 6.00)

Teheran continued his outstanding work on the road by beating the Angels on Monday in Los Angeles, giving up three runs in 6 1/3 innings with five strikeouts. That outing raised his ERA in five away starts to 1.42 to go with a 3-0 record, while the 26-year-old is 1-4 with an 8.40 ERA in six home starts. Teheran is 2-2 with a 2.23 ERA in five career starts against the Reds, losing his only appearance against Cincinnati a year ago.

Garrett returns from the disabled list after being sidelined with right hip inflammation, after the 25-year-old rookie completed a Thursday bullpen session with no issues. He has struggled following a fantastic beginning to 2017, giving up 13 runs on 12 hits in nine innings across two starts before going on the disabled list. Garrett allowed two runs or fewer five times in his first six outings of the season.

WALK-OFFS

1. One game after snapping an 0-for-15 skid with a game-winning homer Friday, Cincinnati C Devin Mesoraco went 2-for-4 with two walks Saturday.

2. Braves RHP Jason Motte did not allow a run in two-thirds of an inning Saturday, extending his scoreless streak to 14 appearances.

3. Reds 1B Joey Votto collected two hits Saturday, raising his average to .312 since beginning the season 6-for-38.

GAME: Pittsburgh Pirates (25-31) at New York Mets (24-30)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 1:10 PM EST
WHERE: Citi Field, New York City, New York
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates both are sitting six games under .500 as they prepare to wrap up a three-game series for the second time in as many weekends. The Mets won two of three in Pittsburgh a week ago after capturing the series finale and will look to do the same when they host the Pirates for Sunday's rubber match.

Neil Walker played his first seven seasons in Pittsburgh before being traded to New York after the 2015 season and has tormented his former team. Walker clubbed a two-run homer in Saturday's 4-2 victory and is 8-for-21 with three blasts and seven RBIs in five games against the Pirates this season. With the Pittsburgh Penguins playing in the Stanley Cup Final, Pirates manager Clint Hurdle invoked a hockey comparison as he lamented his team's inability to get a clutch hit after stranding 12 runners and going 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position on Saturday. "Tonight, we felt like we were on a power play the whole night and couldn’t put a goal in net," said Hurdle.

TV: 1:10 p.m. ET, ROOT (Pittsburgh), SNY (New York)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Pirates RH Trevor Williams (2-3, 5.20 ERA) vs. Mets RH Tyler Pill (0-1, 3.00)

Williams, who started the year in Pittsburgh's bullpen, turned in his first quality start Monday with a season-high six innings, allowing one run and four hits in a no-decision at home versus Arizona. He worked at least five frames and did not permit more than three runs in each of his previous three turns. He is 2-2 with a 6.48 ERA in six road appearances (three starts).

Pill acquitted himself well in his first major-league start but did not factor in the decision after allowing one run in 5 1/3 innings against Milwaukee. His rotation spot is in jeopardy with Steven Matz and Seth Lugo working their way back from injuries. Pill made his major-league debut against Pittsburgh on May 27, giving up one run in two-thirds of an inning.

WALK-OFFS

1. Pirates RHP Jameson Taillon (testicular cancer), who underwent surgery on May 8, will make another rehab start Wednesday at Triple-A Indianapolis.

2. Lugo (elbow) pitched seven innings at Double-A Binghamton on Saturday, striking out eight and allowing one run.

3. Pirates C Francisco Cervelli sat out again Saturday while dealing with sinus-related issues.

GAME: Boston Red Sox (30-25) at Baltimore Orioles (29-25)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 1:35 PM EST
WHERE: Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore, Maryland
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

When Boston Red Sox ace Chris Sale faced the Baltimore Orioles on May 2, the fireballer inflamed already-heightened tensions between the clubs by throwing behind Manny Machado. A month has allowed cooler heads to prevail between the American League East rivals, who wrap up their four-game series in Baltimore on Sunday.

Although Sale has not lost since April 27, he has been reached for 10 runs in his last two outings and has not recorded 10 strikeouts in either following a streak of eight consecutive starts with a double-digit whiff total. Hanley Ramirez broke out of a 1-for-16 slump with a two-run blast and RBI double in Saturday's 5-2 win for Boston - his first blast in 12 games. The Red Sox continue to bring out the best in Machado, who has gone deep in back-to-back games and has hit half of his 12 homers in a dozen contests against Boston this season. The Orioles had their three-game winning streak halted Saturday but will look to capture the series behind the struggling Chris Tillman, who is 10-3 lifetime against the Red Sox.

TV: 1:35 p.m. ET, MLB Network, NESN (Boston), MASN (Baltimore)

PITCHING MATCHUP: Red Sox LH Chris Sale (6-2, 2.77 ERA) vs. Orioles RH Chris Tillman (1-2, 5.87)

Sale is coming off his worst - and shortest - outing of the season but still managed to win his fifth consecutive decision despite giving up six runs (five earned) and 10 hits over five innings. He is 5-0 in his last six starts, a stretch that began with an 11-strikeout performance over eight frames against Baltimore last month. Machado is 4-for-12 and Mark Trumbo 5-for-17 versus Sale.

Like Sale, Tillman is coming off a rocky and abbreviated outing, lasting only 2 2/3 innings while yielding five runs and seven hits - three homers - in a loss to the New York Yankees. He also struggled and took the loss in his previous turn against Minnesota - also at home - after surrendering four runs in five frames. Xander Bogaerts is only 2-for-20 versus Tillman.

WALK-OFFS

1. Red Sox RHP Craig Kimbrel allowed his first run since April 20 and first hit to a right-handed batter in 48 at-bats.

2. Orioles SS J.J. Hardy is 1-for-9 in the series and 8-for-42 against Boston this season.

3. Red Sox CF Mookie Betts recorded two hits Saturday after going 7-for-43 in the first 11 meetings with the Orioles this year.

GAME: San Francisco Giants (23-34) at Philadelphia Phillies (18-35)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 1:35 PM EST
WHERE: Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Philadelphia Phillies snapped a five-game slide with a late rally on Saturday and will try to earn back-to-back wins for the first time since April when they host the San Francisco Giants in the rubber match of a three-game series on Sunday. The Phillies last won consecutive games during a six-game winning streak from April 20-27 but have since gone 7-26.

Philadelphia was thrashed 10-0 in the series opener on Friday and scored two or fewer runs in four straight before breaking out with four runs in the seventh inning against Johnny Cueto and the San Francisco bullpen on Saturday before hanging on for a 5-3 win. "The thing that makes this game kind of special is Cueto's a good pitcher," Phillies manager Pete Mackanin told reporters. "He's really tough. We got a lot of hits off him and swung the bats well. Maybe this is the kind of game that will kick-start us. All the guys swung the bat very well and we got to carry that over through tomorrow." The Giants fell to 10-20 on the road with the setback and are losers of four of their last five. San Francisco will try to bounce back on Sunday behind lefty Matt Moore while the Phillies counter with veteran Jeremy Hellickson.

TV: 1:35 p.m. ET, NBCSN Bay Area (San Francisco), CSN Philadelphia

PITCHING MATCHUP: Giants LH Matt Moore (2-6, 4.98 ERA) vs. Phillies RH Jeremy Hellickson (5-3, 4.45)

Moore is pitching well of late with four straight quality starts but is just 1-2 in that span. The Florida native struck out five and did not walk a batter while yielding two runs on six hits over seven innings against Washington on Monday but came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 final score. Moore spent the first 5 1/2 seasons of his career in the American League with the Tampa Bay Rays and is making just his third career start against the Phillies while looking for his first win after going 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA in the first two chances.

Hellickson was a teammate of Moore's on the Rays before coming over to the National League in 2015 and got off to a strong start in his second season with Philadelphia before running into trouble in the last two turns. The 30-year-old was ripped for a total of 11 runs and 14 hits in 11 innings over his last two starts - both losses. Hellickson is 2-2 with a 2.86 ERA in four career starts against San Francisco.

WALK-OFFS

1. Phillies RHP Pat Neshek struck out the side in a perfect inning on Saturday and did not allow a run in any of his last seven appearances.

2. Giants CF Denard Span is 6-for-9 in the series, raising his batting average to .262.

3. Philadelphia RHP Ben Lively made his major-league debut on Saturday and became the team's first starter to earn a win at home since Hellickson on April 27.

GAME: Los Angeles Dodgers (35-22) at Milwaukee Brewers (29-27)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 2:10 PM EST
WHERE: Miller Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The visiting Los Angeles Dodgers are picking apart the Milwaukee Brewers' bullpen and take aim at a three-game sweep when the teams wrap up their series Sunday afternoon at Miller Park. The Dodgers used a ninth-inning home run to tie Friday's opener before winning it 2-1 in the 12th, and they put forth a five-run ninth in Saturday's dramatic 10-8 triumph.

Chris Taylor's go-ahead grand slam was the big blow for Los Angeles, which has outscored opponents 31-15 in the ninth this year. Taylor also doubled, singled and drew a walk as his average was bumped to .328, while Yasiel Puig recorded his second straight two-hit game and drove in a pair of runs for the Dodgers. Travis Shaw hsnapped a string of 10 straight contests without a homer by slugging a grand slam to pace the Brewers, who have dropped six of their last eight at home. First baseman Eric Thames, who was out of the starting lineup Saturday, is expected back for Milwaukee as he attempts to snap out of a 4-for-33 slump over a 10-game span.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Dodgers RH Kenta Maeda (4-2, 5.21 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Zach Davies (5-3, 5.18)

Maeda matched his shortest start of the year with four innings in a no-decision at St. Louis on Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks with a season-low two strikeouts. He has progressed beyond the fifth inning just twice in nine starts but has done better of late about keeping the ball in the park, as the 29-year-old served up one home run in the last five appearances after giving up seven in his first four starts. Maeda allowed two runs in 12 1/3 frames across two meetings with Milwaukee last June, picking up the win in his lone Miller Park appearance.

Davies has let up three earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts, but he has completed at least six innings just twice in that span. He received a no-decision after lasting five frames at the New York Mets on Tuesday while matching a season low with one strikeout. The 24-year-old, who has a 6.46 ERA in six home starts this year, is 0-1 with a 5.56 mark in two career games versus Los Angeles.

GAME: Cleveland Indians (28-26) at Kansas City Royals (24-30)

DATE/TIME: Sunday, June 04 - 2:15 PM EST
WHERE: Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri
LINE: N/A TOTAL: N/A

The Kansas City Royals are tied for last place in the American League Central and are just one-half game ahead of Oakland for the worst record in the AL, but they seem to have no trouble beating the defending AL champs. The Royals will try to complete a three-game sweep when they host the Cleveland Indians for the series finale on Sunday.

Kansas City took two of three at Cleveland last weekend and rolled over the Indians by a combined score of 16-5 in the first two games of the current series, leading to some frustration on the part of the defending AL champs. "We have to get a little rest and come back and play a lot better because that wasn't close to good enough," Cleveland manager Terry Francona told reporters after Saturday's 12-5 setback. The 12 runs marked a season high and the first time the Royals reached double figures this year as Lorenzo Cain homered to highlight a 13-hit attack. Trying to slow Kansas City's offense on Sunday will be Trevor Bauer, who opposes Royals rookie Eric Skoglund.

The UCLA product struck out 14 while allowing three runs in the win and has registered 73 strikeouts in 57 frames this season. Bauer has fanned just 31 batters in 43 career innings at Kansas City while going 1-2 with a 3.56 ERA in seven starts.

Skoglund made his major-league debut against Detroit on Tuesday and scattered two hits and one walk over 6 1/3 scoreless innings while striking out five. The 24-year-old UCF product was 2-3 with a 4.53 ERA in eight starts at Triple-A before being recalled and owns a 3.74 ERA in 60 career minor-league games. Skoglund outdueled Tigers ace Justin Verlander on Tuesday.
