CONSORTIUM CHOICES

Chatsworth Consortium

# 1 MAJOR TRICK 7/2

# 2 BLUE CHIP SUNSHINE 2/1

# 6 MACH OF BALLYKEEL 3/1

MAJOR TRICK is the best wager in this race. Many expert selectors know speed is is key. This solid standardbred has credentials with a 86 avg rating. Many race players will recognize the excellent TrackMaster Speed Rating in the last competition. Stacks up against any horse in this group. Always terrific driver-handler partnership. 24 percent winners when they team up. BLUE CHIP SUNSHINE - Take a long look at making this horse your win wager based on well above average win clip alone. With a 86 avg class stat, this contender has one of the most compelling class advantages in the field. MACH OF BALLYKEEL - Seems to have a good class advantage based on the competitors he has raced against.

# 9 WICLET HANOVER 3/1

# 1 VANITY BLAST 9/2

# 7 EXPECT A LOT 6/1

WICLET HANOVER is the strongest wager in this affair. This solid standardbred looks strong. Check out the 83 avg TrackMaster Speed Rating. Seems to have a really good class edge based on the competitors she has raced against. Doing work competently, recorded a very promising TrackMaster Speed Rating in her last race (81). VANITY BLAST - This standardbred earned a really strong speed figure last out. Looks in good form to come right back. Some trainers just fit better with certain harness racers. That seems to be the case in this race with Ryder. A good bet. EXPECT A LOT - With a excellent driver, who has won at a great 20 percent rate this last month, this has to be one of the best choices. The consortium happens to know that when you put Morrill and Oakes together really good results happen frequently.

RECOMMENDED CHOICES

The Walker Group Picks

# 3 SINGMETOTHEMOON 8/1

# 6 GRAY WAGON 10/1

# 2 CLASSIC CALIBER 3/1

SINGMETOTHEMOON looks to be the bet in here and is a decent value wager given the line. Is hard not to look at based on Equibase Speed Figures which have been solid - 93 avg - of late. Ramirez will almost certainly be able to get this gelding to break out sharply here. Must be given a chance given the class of races run as of late. GRAY WAGON - This pony has a fantastic winning percentage in dirt routes. Earning some nice money in dirt route events. CLASSIC CALIBER - Could provide positive gains based on strong recent Equibase Speed Figures with an average of 89. The Equibase Speed Figure of 93 from his latest contest looks competitive in here.

QUARTER HORSE 300Y, FOR MAIDENS, TWO YEARS OLD. WEIGHT, 124 LBS. ENTRY $25.00).

RECOMMENDED CHOICES

The Walker Group Picks

# 3 ALL GET OUT 5/2

# 1 JES ZOOMIN GIRL 3/1

# 6 SHEZ A MOTOR SCOOTER 4/1

ALL GET OUT has a quite good shot to take this race. With a reliable 76 average Equibase Speed Figure at the distance, seems well suited for today's outing. There is a strong chance that this entry's late pace will improve with second time Lasix. She should be given a shot given the very strong speed numbers. JES ZOOMIN GIRL - Will likely be one of the early speedsters of the bunch going into the midpoint of the race. Could beat this group given the 77 speed figure recorded in her last outing. SHEZ A MOTOR SCOOTER - Ought to be considered as she drops to compete against this easier bunch.

#5 DUKE OF DOOM (ML=5/2)

DUKE OF DOOM - A win pct like 34 is out of sight for any jock/conditioner duo.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 FUNNY HOW (ML=8/5), #2 MISDEED (ML=3/1), #3 WHY NOT BE PERFECT (ML=6/1),

FUNNY HOW - The result of sixth in the last event shows me that this animal may be tailing off. The speed figure last time out doesn't fit very well in this event when I look at the Equibase class figure of today's event. Mark this horse as a vulnerable competitor. MISDEED - The sixth place result in the last event was not the best. Don't think this steed will make an impact today. That last speed fig was somewhat easily forgotten when compared with today's class rating. WHY NOT BE PERFECT - There may be a set back this time around, after the strong exertion last out.

STRAIGHT WAGERS:
Bet on #5 DUKE OF DOOM to win if you can get at least 1/1 odds

#6 DONEGAL HALL (ML=6/1)
#4 CRAZY CLOWN TIME (ML=5/2)

DONEGAL HALL - When Vasquez and Persaud unite on horses the return on investment has been great at +121. Ranks at the top in earnings per race. A strong performance in this race will boost that bankroll. Dropping in class figure points from his May 8th race at Gulfstream. Based on that data, I will give this horse the edge. This gelding's last speed figure recorded on May 8th is in the top spot in last race speed figs. CRAZY CLOWN TIME - This racer could be tough in today's contest, especially since Castro rode last time around the track and now should be more familiar with this one. Have to give this gelding a shot. Ran a nice effort in the last race within the last month.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 RAY'S BACK (ML=3/1), #2 TEA'S TWO STEP (ML=7/2), #1 MY UNCLE CHARLIE (ML=4/1),

RAY'S BACK - Campaigner ran a great speed fig last time around the track, but that was in the slop. TEA'S TWO STEP - He had to show me more against that weaker bunch in the last race on May 9th to get my support today. MY UNCLE CHARLIE - I can't play this habitual non-winner. Gets the task completed infrequently. Don't believe this racer will make a winning move in today's event. That last speed fig was somewhat easily forgotten when compared with today's class rating.

DRF HARNESS

Race 7 - $25,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Best Bet (21 - 32 / $78.40): FOX VALLEY PIPA (6th)

Spot Play: KIMBERLEY R (7th)

Race 1

In a wide open race (1) FOXY ELLIE drops in for a tag for the first time against weaker and gets the best post. (4) FOX VALLEY REDHEAD has just been racing evenly but has been close at this level. (7) ROCKNROLLCRYSTAL filly needed her last start and has room to improve.

Race 2

(8) CONTINENTAL DIVIDE well bred 4-year-old just needs to ration his speed for a chance to go coast to coast. (1) LIMA PIZZAZ could be sitting on a good effort coming off an impressive qualifier. (7) FOX VALLEY HARRAH filly has yet to win in sixteen career starts but does own some ability.

Race 3

(3) MISS PAT WEISAR takes a significant drop in class and has already beaten better two starts back. (5) SEEKIN FOR GLAMOUR mare will look to make it five wins in her last seven starts at this level. (2) LOVERS HOLIDAY raced super last out and has been much better in the new barn.

Race 4

(9) LITTLE MISS TORIE burned cash last start but could be the horse to beat with a smooth trip. (8) CAN'T CATCH KEY filly is talented and picks up a good driver change. (4) BS TYRICHESS is capable against this bunch; threat.

Race 5

(1) BULLDOG BENJI gelding trotted a nice mile last start for his first lifetime victory. The 3-year-old has plenty of room to improve. (3) PINSTRIPE PLAYER just missed last out to an opponent who would be a heavy favorite against this group. (7) PATIENT I D filly also trotted a career best last out but needs a good setup.

Race 6

(3) FOX VALLEY PIPA with any improvement could be the horse to beat coming off a nice first effort off a layoff. (8) MISSIANA mare is catching a much softer field than what she's been recently facing; threat. (10) IF I DIDN'T DREAM will need racing luck and a good setup to be anywhere close turning for home; use underneath.

Race 7

In a field with few contenders (7) KIMBERLY R has a convincing win at this level on the year and should offer a fair price. (3) LOVE THIS PLACE the likely favorite owns the most back class but has not been the same for quite some time; command a price. (9) JOYFUL GAME is just now back in racing shape and has a good late kick when right.

Race 8

(5) NANCYS SKYSCAPE owns only one win on the year but has shown a big burst of speed in a weak field. (6) LARRY'S PLACE veteran pacer has been better in his last two and was the driver's choice. (2) LD'S DASH has shown signs of turning it around since the qualifier.

Race 9

(2) MASTER OF EXCUSES takes a big drop in class and should win with a good effort. (1) RED SOLO CUP has burned cash in two straight racing evenly. The 4-year-old stallion lacked pop late the start before as well; command a price. (9) MY FUNKY FARKLE gets a tough post and will need more; use underneath.

Race 10

(10) ALWAYS REESE didn't get to pace the full length of the stretch last week waiting for room. The filly should offer a great price and looks to be getting better with every start. (7) GET THE TERROR was really close last out and seems to be going in the right direction. (6) BABYSHOEBUYER has been knocking on the door in recent starts; threat.

Nationals/Reds Over 8

Nats have been on a slide in the last 10 games..The Reds have picked it up here as of late..Reds will go ahead and put Michael Lorenzen on the mound today..He has a 3.12 ERA and a WHIP of 1.42...Walks can get him in trouble and this lineup is stacked with hitters...He has been lucky this year because he hasn't started a game Vs. a potent lineup like the Nats...Bryce Harper is a question mark for today..With the Nats trying to avoid getting swept, i'd say Harper is 50/50...Even with him out of the lineup this Nats team can still produce runs....Nats sruckout yesterday in that game 11 times...That's not the norm for the Nats team..Reds put a hurting on Gio Gonzlaez as Votto & Frazier have heated up....Nats will send Roark to the mound...He is just like Lorenzen..Bullpen innings and a few game with some starts...These guys combined will struggle to get strikeouts today..We may be lucky to see 7 or 8 total in this game from the starters. Both can give up the longball as well...Nats need to get into the win column more than anything..They have the bats to get themselves 4-7 runs IMO..Reds have been hitting the ball very well and Roark will not over power this Reds lineup in it's current state..Reds can get themselves 4 or 5 runs as well...I can see a 5-4 type of game..Bullpens may come into play here as well....Reds have one of the worst in MLB..combined they avg about 3.75ERA from the pens..I think we see a OVER 8 for this day game today.

10* MLB FREE PICK ON THE RAYS -104

I'm backing the Rays and starter Jake Odorizzi on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles. Odorizzi has been stellar over the first third of the season. He's had some tough-luck losses to be sure (he's only 3-5), but carries a 2.31 ERA and 0.97 WHIP into today's game. Roll the Rays -104!

NEWSLETTER MLB Baseball Prediction From Allen *******

Take San Francisco (-1.5) over Atlanta (4 p.m., Sunday, May 31)

I will back Madison Bumgarner. He is one of the best pitchers in baseball, and he will be facing a Braves team that has struggled against left-handed pitching all season long. The Giants are almost as hot as I am right now! Heading into Tuesday they had won 10 of 12 games, and this team looks like the defending champions should look right now. The Giants are 21-8 in Bumgarner’s last 29 starts and 21-6 in his last 27 home starts. Bumgarner is going to dominate once again in this one, and this one will be worth a runline play. Go with the Giants.
