I need some help? could someone please translate these spanish words(terms) to me.

remates total = total shots

remates a puerta = shot on goal

remates al palo = shot on woodwork, goal post

fuera = ?????? (babelfish, "it was")

otros = ?????? (babelfish, "others")

, the last two one are ones I'm after. These terms are used in soccer game stats.

, and then I just need a confirmation if "saques de esquina" means "corner kicks" as I think it does?

...anyone? ... please?

yes tiro esquina is corner kicks ... fuera usually means a big miss (remateeeeee a fueraaaaaa). The word desviado tends to be used for a miss that was not really that close.

I've never seen otros used on stats ... I'd need to see the stat page to tell you what they're getting at

stats could be find at...

as.com > Carrusel > "click the result" > Est. partidos

, I think they, "fuera" and "otros", are some kind of shots of goal or something like that... ? but why there is two different expressions of it... ?

ah, it means another type of shot ... so one that is not wide, not on goal, and not off the wood work. I'd guess they are looking at shots being blocked under that category

a puerta : at goal or shots on target
al palo : shots that hit the post
fuera : shots to the left or to the right of the goal... not on target to the goal
otros : shot that were way over or any other shot not listed above
