Chiefs -7 1/2
Last year as you all know the Texans gave up a lot of points to a lot of offensively adept teams. Most of their losses were in the double digit range. Of course they came out and shocked everyone with a win over Miami week 1, so is this a better team? Sure, they might be a little bit better. But not good enough to even come close to covering the spread against the Saints last week, who had 189 yards and 2 td's passing, and 96 yards and 1 TD rushing. And now they have to play the Chiefs? One of the best offenses in the NFL? How are they going to keep this one close? I have no idea, Holmes is ready to go and he is going to punish these guys. The Chiefs D looks faster and more aggressive this year. They will keep the Texans from putting more than 14 or so points on the board, while the offense should roll up a total of at least 30 points.

Bucs -4 1/2
Last year this same Bucs team completely dominated this same Atlanta Falcons team. First match-up went 20-6, then they went 34-10 in a game that the Falcons were lucky to score a single point. Maybe Doug Johnson can make something happen against this Bucs D that Vick couldn't,

, as now they've got a speedy reciever in Peerless Price to throw to, but I'm willing to bet that it's more likely that they get shut out completely in this game. Bucs 27, Falcons 0.

will keep posing my suicide pool plays if you guys like 'em

last week 1-1

Chi +10 LOSE
Oak -11.5 WIn "Big" play

This week:

Cle +7 *
Hou +7.5 *
Jax +7.5
Ari +7.5 *

All except Jax are "big" plays...meaning more than 20%

the system (recap)...I am in suicide pool, started with ~100 total squares. I fade any team picked by more than 10% of pool members. "Big" plays are more than 20%. From what I remember, these fades have done good the past few years, though I am waiting to get the data and look it over. Basically these teams are square "locks". Personally, I will play them all except houston.
