They'll have had a full week off for this match while Liverpool playing twice in the same timeframe and playing what will be their 4th match in 10 days (and 5th in 13). United have won 4 of the past 5 meetings here and should not have a problem with Liverpool who have exactly one road win (over Unirea Urziceni) in their 8 road games of 2010. The one pock mark on the match was the elbow that Steven Gerrard delivered to Michael Brown—unconscionable and pretty much everything that’s wrong with the way he’s played this season, surely a red. And why, in such a match? Some move from the man responsible for defining Liverpool’s character, and hopefully the FA takes some sort of retroactive measures. If it means he misses Sunday, so be it. It was a classless move and the last thing Liverpool need in this season.

hmm, didnt see the episode, but read that the ref took action..on the rules it stays with it, but if not, FA can suspend him. we'll see.
