The last one was Dallas -3 where if you guys read my thread, it was my biggest bet this year.
I can't remember the last time I lost a big bet in the NFL recently. I don't mean to show off, but I'm rolling and I have to stick with my decision on this one.
Indianapolis gave me a huge cover on a big bet earlier in the season when they came back from a huge deficit(y'all remember that one) against Houston in Houston to cover. They also hooked me up against Minnesota in Minnesota when everyone warned me they would get run all over by Peterson. So if they don't come through for me here I can live with that.
Having said all that, be warned that Addai and Sanders might not play tomorrow although Dungy says they 'should be playing on Thursday' The real bad news is that Marvin Harrison won't be playing and that fucken hurts. I already made the bet earlier and it's locked in. Indy has plenty of receivers and I don't think it will be that much of a problem.
I don't need to look at this game any further. I played it(WSEX) and have to live with it. I do feel optimistic about it though.

It's been brutal. Gotten a little better past couple days, if you consider -24 better. Before that it was a deep freeze. -50 is f'n crazy. The icy wind just cuts right through you. I was born and raised in the Peg but I've seriously had it with this town.

This game really reminds me a lot of Miami/SF. Everything pointed to a Miami DD win and easy cover, but we know what happened. Sharps are probably going to pound Jax right before kickoff. Same thing will happen here as did with Miami game, line will drop to -5.5 or -5 by kickoff even though public strongly on Indy.

This is by no means a GOY or large play for me so when the Colts win you can all do a dance and thats fine. But I really think a division rival home dog is the play. You've got reverse line movement and when the books open the line at -6.5 they're really just begging you to take the Colts. If it wasn't so close to christamas I'd bet more-- but as it is, 1 unit on the jaggers for me.
Exactly. Just like the books were begging ppl to take Miami last week with a line of -6.5. As you said, I know "team A beat team B" is not a great indicator, but Indy got crushed at GB. Indy backers will come to their defense by saying, Peyton not in synch, different team now, etc. Which you are right, they are a different team now but that doesn't mean they are a better road team. This has been proven all year, they don't win big on the road. They get the job done, which they will again tonight, but it will be a 3-4 pt. win. I see a 21-17 or 24-21 final tonight.
