I"m always a few years behind on the popular trends but I was wondering if those streaming boxes are still the way to go? I saw a SuperBox S Pro 4 selling on amazon for $329 from an Authorized dealer with good reviews(no monthly fees, one time payment). Does anyone know if this would basically be the same as those boxes Diago was selling 3-4 years ago? Thank you.

I cut cord 4 years ago after 12 years with xfinity, they kept raising pricing with their terrible customer service and multiple unexplainable outages. Paid about 3K per year with a basic cable package, included phone and internet. So when contract is up whiich is bullshit anyhow, switched to different internet company $850 per year , plus a IPvanish $80 a year, and purchased stream boxes from snowmedia $400., which includes basically everything you need all locals nationwide, all cable channels, ppv , all movie channels hbo,Cinemax, stars, showtime, every mlb, nhl, nba, soccer, golf, tennis,NCAA game, also includes all popular TV series , all seasons of all shows updated daily, and all movies , and including new releases. All in $1330 vs $3000 per year and you get endless options, 4K to 1080 channels.

if u have good tmobile coverage i would get their $50/mo internet and hard wire into an Nvidia Shield and download tivimate and get IPTV service. would be 600/yr internet, 180/yr IPTV service, and a shield is $200 so 1k for first year, 800 for following years and you'll get thousands of channels from all over the world, every PPV, every sporting event, and a catalog of tv shows and movies.

if poor tmobile but access to verizon FiOS you can get a gig ethernet for 90/mo or 500 mbps service for 70/mo
