I recommend watching the documentary espn made about this. Very interesting

Feel terrible for the guy. People need to move the fuck on with their lives. Pathetic pieces of shit

I can't believe you turned down 25k just to sign an autograph .
And all those free tickets

Some people just have too much money. 25K for his autograph? How pointless. I have an autographed Michael Jordan basketball card and have no idea where it is. It's probably not worth anything now but I got it at his basketball camp when he was in his prime.

Just can't beleive anyone would pay Bartman for an autograph or really anyone for that matter. Crazy to believe a random signature from a stranger is worth anything.

If he showed up to the World Series and the Cubs won it all he would instantly be a hero for life.

If I would have been him I would have milked it for all its worth and never worked another day in my life.

He could have hired a marketing team and cashed in on this

I think he is pretty well off financially.
Rumor has it he's already rich.

I mean he had the best seats in the house in the NLCS.

So he probably don't need the money but still

He would have been killed that night by a mob of people, had security not taken him away. Yes, they would have murdered him. Sick world.

That was back then.
I think enough time passes where he would not have to worry about anything like that

Honestly, what does he have to gain? He just wanted to work for a living, mow his yard, and root for his Cubs. Being a celebrity would suck, and he obviously never wanted that. The whole thing is stupid anyway. He's a nobody, he just lost out on the lottery for the one seat that would impact the game. Every single person next to him was reaching for the ball, so whoever was in that seat was going to suffer the same fate. I really can't imagine my life changing in an instant like that. It's totally unfair to him. I'm sure he's asked himself a million times why didn't I just go to a bar that night in Wrigleyville?

I havent seen the Bartman replay in a longtime but what I dont get is you have multiple people going after that ball in the field of play and he gets singled out, I think you have to be just as pissed to other Cubs fans for not knowing the situation and going after the ball in such a big situation in the game.
