The Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday and may have lost their starting QB Ben Roethlisberger as well.

With the game knotted at 24 apiece in OT, Roethlisberger took a knee to the head and was taken out of the game, replaced by understudy Charlie Batch.

According to head coach Mike Tomlin, Big Ben “took a blow, needless to say, it was a concussion-oriented thing so I doubt he was going to come back into the football game.”

According to ESPN, Batch reportedly suffered a wrist injury in relief and will miss four to six weeks after he has surgery–QB Dennis Dixon is the team’s third-stringer.

Tomlin would not comment on how severe the injury was and Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that he wasn’t sure if he was concussed and that he felt ok.

The Steelers ended up losing 27-24 and failed to cover as 12-point road faves–the Total was set at 39.5 and went Over.

Pittsburgh faces division-rival Baltimore this week and a line has yet to be set.
