safe to say it's MUST WIN time for the Sharks.........

do they leave Ward to play with Couture/Donskoi?....move Marleau to centre on the 3rd line?.........

certainly these two guys have to step it up.......

Thornton stick to creating out there and forget the cheap shot nonsense.................is the Pavelski becoming Casper the Friendly Ghost?..:).......

I'm surprised by the Pens Love in this here spot, line has moved from Sharks -149 to Sharks -132 :think2:

the second period of game 1 and 10 minutes of the 3rd period of game 2 were the Shark's shining moments. I like the line changes they made late in game #2. The Pen's dee as a unit are doing a terrific job. Not getting their due. Very few second chances for the Sharks. With that said, i think that's the way the Sharks need to play-- bodies in front of the net, use the dee at the point. Burns needs to take chances out there, got no choice!!!

Thornton, Pavelski? not a good matchup as this Pen team exposes their lack of speed. Marleau, Thornton, Pavelski have looked terrible.

Pens need to keep what they're doing ...and stay out of the box. No dumb penalties. They know the Sharks CANNOT out skate them

Like what the Sharks are doing : defense , to a man , are playing very aggressive in the neutral zone/offensive end . Seriously , do they have a choice ? With Pitt quick transition from defense to offense that will lead to exposing the back. We just saw that with Kessel breakaway .

thornton is such a brilliant passer

i think the Sharks should continue with the super aggressive dee-- they spent a greater % of time in Pitt's end. If they get the next goal, i'd abort and play a softer dee. They know damn well they are exposing themselves to odd man rushes (they gave up two including a breakaway), clearly the coaching staff feels they need to

Pitt out shoots them 14-6 in the 1st.......a lot of energy in that building.....:)

that was the Sharks best period of the series. Played very physical (esp on Crosby), closing gaps in the neutral zone, multiple glorious scoring chances. They had more golden scoring chances in that period than the last few games combined. Geez. Very unfortunate to be trailing after 2. Surprised Pitt didn't try to shake things up by putting Malkin and Crosby together.

Burns down low needs to bury that. That was crazy-- there's a reason the Brampton Battalion moved him from RW to D!! you just saw why!!!!! :missingte
