It might be tempting to go against favored Stanford in view of its recent road games. But Stanford recently had to travel to Colorado, UCLA, and USC to face two attentive perimeter defenses and to face offensively superior USC. But the Beavers do not have an attentive perimeter defense -- they regularly do a poor job of contesting three-pointers. Three-pointers will be crucial for Stanford tonight because it loves to attempt them. On defense, Stanford won't have to face an offense that is of the caliber of its last road opponent, USC. On offense, Oregon State is one of the worst teams at limiting turnovers and making shots efficiently. The Beavers are also in a bad spot, coming off a close loss to their archrival.
