Alemania Aachen - Cottbus

Both teams started as contenders to promote to Bundesliga 1 but had a rough start into the new season. Though there is much quality on the field today and I expect a close match here.
I prefer Aachen here as they are known for their strenght at home while Cottbus struggles to show consistently good performances on the road. And Aachen's top striker Benjamin Auer is absolutely in-form as he scored already 4 goals this season.

Aachen -0,5 @ -106

MSV Duisburg - Union Berlin

Union started really good into this season while their opponent for today, MSV Duisburg, struggled a bit at the 15th rank so far. But well, I would still rate Duisburg as a top team in this league, even though their best striker Sandro Wagner is out for the match. They have enough quality on the bench to beat the defense from Union. It's a key match-up for Duisburg's coach Neururer and I don't think the team will play against him, so they have a realistic chance to get three points here.

Duisburg -0,25 @ +105

Schalke 04 - Frankfurt

I think Frankfurt can surprise today. There is a lot of trouble right now in Schalke (lots of financial problems etc) and they couldn't convince in their last matches. They have a great coach with Magath but though, they are way too high on the table. The only thing really good in Schalke is their defense while their offense is still struggling without a serious midfield.
I expect a boring game, Frankfurt is nothing special and so Under 2,5 @ +107 and Frankfurt +1 @ +109 for me. I would be very surprised if Schalke wins by more than one.

Greuther Fuerth (13.) - Fortuna Duesseldorf (6.)

In this match-up, I prefer the home team as they are usually very strong in their own stadium. Duesseldorf on the other hand started great into the season as a promoted team but their opponents were rather easy if you compare them to Fuerth's. I expect a fast game and two fully motivated sides but quality wise, I would rate Fuerth a bit higher and so Fuerth -0,5 @ -115 is the play

Paderborn (12.) - FC Augsburg (9.)

Augsburg is definitely the better side and I would be surprised if they couldn't ar least get a draw in this match. Paderborn so far is unbeaten against Augsburg in their history but well, every streak breaks anytime.
Augsburg +0,25 @ -109 for me

VfL Bochum (13.) - VfL Wolfsburg (6.)

It's always hard to motivate a team against a small opponent after playing a big champions league match. I remember great matches of Bayern against Real, etc and then losing in league against Bielefeld. So I'm curious if Wolfsburg will show the same good performance here as they've shown against ManU.
On the other side Bochum's interim coach Heinemannmade the team look good in theirlast match and I think the chances for Bochum to draw aren't that small as it seems on the first look.
Bochum +0,5 @ +112

FSV Mainz (8.) - TSG Hoffenheim (4.)

Hoffenheim played some great soccer in the last weeks with four wins in a row but against rather weak opponents. And today they will face Mainz whp os a very hard nut to crack at home. Leverkusen only get a draw and Bayern was beaten in Mainz. So with these four wins, bookies are once again overestimating Hoffenheim. I think Mainz +0,5 @ +108 is worth a shot.

Borussia Mönchengladbach (12.) - Borussia Dortmund (15.)

This is imo a match between two equal teams and I cannot understand these odds. Dortmund is in a big slump as their strikers are just useless and cannot find the goal. So I go with the home advantage wgere Gladbach could draw against almost every team in Bundesliga, especially against this poor team.

FC St. Pauli (5.) - 1860 Muenchen (15.)

After a great start into the season, St. Pauli shows some signs of cooling down lately. They lost both of their last league matches and I think they won't win today either. They will face a team from Muenchen that struggled to score lately and now stands at the 15th place. This is way too low for this quality team with many good players and a great coach. I expect a close hard-fought match and when I look at the odds, I'm definitely with the dog.

Great picks in Germany this weekend... What do you think of Stuttgart-Bremen going Over? This fixture has a history of being high scoring, but O3 is a pretty big line...
