Not sure any have died, but all of the 70 year old players with three underlying conditions are at a huge risk...just like the rest of general public.

exactly the opposite I am pointing out the hypocrisy with this whole situation. Too much money to shut down sports, but all us small businesses are expendable. "Shutting down" isn't about safety. If so, fast food, gas stations, ATMs and all public areas would be off limits. Yet public transportation is still running and no one is cleaning, ensuring distance, etc.

I posted this in a previous thread about our college summer baseball league. There were about 800 players in the league this year and all were tested upon arrival at their teams. Our team had 3 positives and 2 close contacts. They did their quarantine, never got tested again to be cleared and no player was ever tested again all summer. Guess what? The teams completed a 46 game schedule without a conflict. Totally agree
