April 29, 1983, was a day that changed the Chicago Cubs’ world. And each year we stop for a moment and reflect on the glorious, profanity-laden rant that’s celebrated as Lee Elia Day.
The best parts of Elia’s speech can’t be printed here, even 38 years later, but unless your knowledge of Chicago history is close to nothing, you surely know the classics by now.
