I have heard he's looking for a deal around 4-5 years. Hopefully he has to play for the minimum this year.

Word is now that Manny is ready to accept the deal for 2 years/$45m, with $25 million this year and a $20 million option next year. I wonder if Borass rejected this offer without consulting his client.

Dodgers finally taking a stand. They should reinstate their prior offer with a 24 window and a 1 million per day reduction thereafter. Take it or leave it. He won't get that money anywhere else.

This is a really interesting situation because :

-the Dodgers absolutely need Manny, they have no other options

-Manny needs to sign with Dodgers , he has no other real options if he wants big money
