I am going to try something new today by using only the last two races for each horse to see if he is going forwards or backwards or has he moved up too much?. This time, we are going to come up with a new rating system, not the same old thing In order to succeed, you need to try new and unconventional methods to win. The reason I say that is because everyone is basically doing the same thing as everyone else. It's not easy to handicap pace, as it takes work and discipline. Another problem is that speed figures and pace ratings don't do the job. How many times you bet a reasonable number just to run out and horses just don't run to pars so let's just rate the last 2 calls in time in the PP's and minus (BL) str-fin to come up with a form number like this.
6F 22.1--45.1--57.3*--111.0* str call BL =6 fin BL =7 form # 163 -6/-7 =150
Now when I went back to check races I did find out when horses go 153-134 they moved up to much so bounce may be in order also I see horses that moved up but got beat 4BL/6BL but his #'s are 147-139 is a good sign don't always think because a horse run something like 149-122 that he is going to run big again . see you in the am
