I would have to say that the teams drafting these players know way more than any of us degenerates.

Carry on with your dumb comments.

You would actually be suprised how stupid some GMs really are.

Where is Mike Lynn? I am sure you probably thought Walker deal was great for Minny.

Just got home and catching up. So far, the biggest bust to me will be Roy "I can't run without tripping" Hibbert.

He was taken 17th so who cares… 70% of the players taken after the lottery in the first round are busts or just guys that play 15 minutes a game as a role players.

Guarantee when it’s all said and done he is better then Robin Lopez, Javal Mcgee, and the other centers from Africa and Europe drafted in the mid first round this year. Some of those guys drafted won't even step on a NBA court or will take 5 years to be able to play 10 min a game.

At least the Pacers know that he will work his ass off and won’t get arrested…

Hibbert will be better than people think. He's a smart player, a pretty good dribbler, a terrific passer and most importantly he is fucking tall. He needs to get his ass in the gym this summer and bulk up, but he is one of the most teachable guys there is. He will be a solid reserve player at worst. Will he be better than Robin Lopez though? No. Lopez could easily win a defensive player of the year award at sometime in his career. Brook has much more talent, but Robin will be a very good player as well. That was a very good pick by the Suns.

I rate the centers in the draft Brook Lopez, Robin Lopez, Hibbert, Ajinca, and McGee.

CDR dropped for good reason in my opinion. I loved him at Memphis and he was always a terrific player, but I see him being an average starter at best in the NBA. Getting a starter in the second round is really the best you hope for anyways so it wasn't a bad pick by the Nets, but I really don't think he should have gone much higher. He was originally scouted to be a mid second round pick, but his stock flew up from the NCAA tournament, but that was mostly because of Rose. He's a great player, but Cleveland didn't miss anything by not picking him. I think they actually should have gone with either Lee or Jordan.

These ex-player millionaire GM's do nothing but make shit decisions.

Why hire someone for a business position just because they can jump high or shoot well? Stupid. That is why the Spurs are good every year and get great value picks because they hired someone that is not an ex athlete to run their team.

pacers did good getting bayless and then made a shit trade.

See it time after time. Jordan, Mchale, Dumars(take Darko over Wade, Bosh, Anthony), Bird, Kiki Vadewaghe, etc. etc. ainge prior to this season has done shitty too

These guys never have any idea of what they are doing.

Hibbert is a lazy guy who will not care and since the NBA made a mistake of guarnateeing all contracts, he simply will not care. He will just show up, collect his millions and be a back up center.

pacers made a shit trade once/if it goes through. of course, I wouldn't have been dumb enough to pay Jermaine O Neal 20 million a year anyway.

Lazy guy? What are you talking about? He probably has the best work ethic of all the players in the draft. That's his best quality. He is a 4 year player who went from scrub to first rounder by busting his ass. He excelled in classwork and got a degree from a top school.

GM loved him b/c he was such a hard worker.

GM loved him because the GM is an idiot. Most GM's in sports are

With his skills, size and taklent, he should have dominated college basketball. He would have been a lottery guy if he came out after his junior year but he came back, played half ass and looked asleep at times. He was going against shorter guys wil lesser skill in college, now most of the time he will be going against guys of the same length and heigth. Reminds me of the 6'10" guy that looks good in high school and then he goes to college and they don't see it. Umm, the reason is because he was being guarded by 6'4" kids in high school.

I would think that would only get worse now that he is guaranteed money

He played at Gtown where players don't get that big of numbers b/c of style of play and system. Jeff Green put up the similar numbers to Hibbert and he was the much better pro prospect.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Hibbert went from a kid who was not recruited in college who could not play to a first round pick b/c he was a gym rat and got better every year.

I don't think he will be a great pro but it has nothing to do with his work ethic.
