I have two wagers for Euro '12 that I want to post now. Both matches will be played this coming Friday, June 8th.
Greece v. Poland (+1.00) 1.00 to win 1.00
-I feel that some folks are getting to smart feeling that the Greeks can win. I like Poland in a low scoring match.
Czech v. Russia -0.5 (+1.14) 1.00 to win 1.14.
-same as above, see a fair amount of love for the Czech's. I see this one as lop-sided. Of course I have been wrong on numerous occasions.
I am tempted to take Germans to win (+3.08) and i still might, just not that sure. Good Luck!

not to change yer mind on yer croatia bet...but ireland is dregs...absolute rubbish...there is positively no fluidity to their game...thus making croatia look more appealing...shay given is always a soft goal waiting to happen and their defense couldn't clear a dirty dinner table let alone a ball in the box
appreciate your response, I diagree with you saying that Ireland is dregs. I believe that Ireland plays a different style to most popular clubs but have success non-the-less. I feel that they might have looked at Croatia as a lesser oppenet and got 'caught'. As far as Croatia they and Italy play similar styles (IMO) and the difference being that Croatia is playing with more confidence and are in solid form. Perhaps (doubtful) that Italy looks at Croatia as a 'lesser; club and before they know it they are down 2-0? All in all should be a great match, hope the Italians go Jersey Shore and forget whats going on.
Ireland v. Spain UNDER 1 (+1.16) 1H. 2.00 to win 2.32.
-I look for the Irish club to get refocused after over looking the Croatians. They will correct to form and play defence first and pack the midfield making a Spanish team that might be lacking motivation from scoring until late in the match.

don't need to do homework when i watch a team concede 2 pathetic goals because they can't clear the ball out of their box...that's just a fact...winning qualifiers is a whole different game than the actual euro games that count(ask the dutch)..ireland won't catch a point in this tourney in my opinion...and i respectfully disagree that italy is a weaker team than the irish....
understand your points, one match doesn't make the squad. I am assuming that you have played sports (which one doesn't matter) and you can agree that a game/match alone doesn't define a team/club. If it's qualifiers or not doesn't make much difference to me as both squads know the stakes and are playing the same game, it's the results that matter. If you feel that strong about the match would you suggest playing Spain (huge odds) or laying the handi? Great banter and again thanks for stopping in, I have strong feeling on Fridays matchs, hope you stop in.

no way, not at all...it's great to hear different opinions...matter of fact is i have laid off more bets in my lifetime than made just by listening to what others have to say,,,,,that being said,,,i am layin off italy today based on line movement and the biggest mush i know plunked down 1k on italy(normally a 100-200 bettor),,,,as for spain, i think w/a more aggressive line up than sunday, they will be able to name the score...cheers

-I'm seeing a fair amount of backing for France, not sure why as they are IMO the lesser squad in this match. The reports of fighting on the French club cannot be good leading into a match with the Spanish. I also believe that the French lack leadership and toughness required to defeat the Spainsh.

- two solid clubs with a fair amount on the line. I see two solid goal keepers backing solid defensive clubs. The English have some fire power, feel that will be cancelled by a tight Italian squad that might feel that they are in the shadow of the English squad. I feel that the English will play a defense first type of game and take what the Italians 'give' them.
