I have taken a couple of weeks off and I am back. Chelsea is playing unbelievable football in the Champions League and English Premeire League. The offense has been clicking on all cylinders this weekend with a 4-0 win of Charlton. Fulham will not be able to hold Chelsea and I expect at least 3 goals here by Chelsea.

The play : Over 2.5 -101

Not saying Chelsea won't win or score but remember this is a Carling Cup game and they have changed 5 players from their regular line up for this matchup.

Fulham v Chelsea: Preview

PA

Jose Mourinho will continue to rotate his squad for the Carling Cup quarter-final with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Scott Parker, Wayne Bridge, Alexei Smertin and Mateja Kezman are all expected to feature with Carlo Cudicini replacing Petr Cech in goal.

It is a policy which has put Chelsea five points clear at the top of the Barclays Premiership, into the next phase of the Champions League and the last eight of the Carling Cup.

But unlike many squads, the Chelsea players have all accepted Mourinho's policy of resting players for certain games.

Chelsea beat Fulham 4-1 in the Premiership earlier this month but the side which runs out on Tuesday night is likely to look markedly different.

Mourinho confirmed: "We are now in a time of rotation. My decisions are always taken in relation to the next game.

"I will leave out a player who I am thinking of playing in the next game.

"The players must always think only of the game being played but I have to think further ahead.

"The whole team understands this mentality and knows it is for the best."

Chris Coleman fears Chelsea will run up a "cricket score" if his Fulham players fail to raise their game.

The Welshman did not mince his words after Fulham lost to Blackburn at home on Saturday, a result which lifted Rovers off the bottom of the Barclays Premiership.

It left Coleman to question whether his "arrogant" squad had the stomach for a relegation dogfight following a third successive league defeat.

With a trip to fellow strugglers Norwich at the weekend, Coleman admitted he could have done without having to try to get the better of their west London neighbours.

And he warned unless each and every one of his men are up for the challenge, a repeat of the 4-1 thrashing the Cottagers suffered on their own patch during last month`s league meeting would be very much on the cards.

"It may have sounded a bit harsh, some of the things I said - but I don`t go back on what I said," reflected the Fulham manager.

"I know the situation we are in, but also, frustratingly, I know how well we can play on our day - unfortunately lately we have not had too many good ones.

"We now have a massive game, but if we play like the way we did on Saturday, then it will be a cricket score."

Fulham will be without the suspended defender Zat Knight and injured goalkeeper Mark Crossley.

Centre-back Knight must serve a one-match ban after being sent off against Blackburn on Saturday and Ian Pearce is ready to step in. Crossley sustained a groin injury in the 2-0 defeat which is likely to sideline him for several weeks.

Holland keeper Edwin van der Sar, who replaced Crossley on Saturday, wins back his place in the starting line-up while 20-year-old goalkeeper Ross Flitney will be on the bench.

This is no way a lock but deserves to be played for a medium size play
Look for Chelsea to have 2 goals by half
