Yea pokertracker doesnt work for Bodog.

Now cmon guys my previous post was an attempt to stop exactly what is happening.rigged vs not-rigged, then the name calling and insults start, then we get people saying we wont post here anymore cus of the rigged vs nonrigged discussions...which by the way are the #1 most active topic on EACH AND EVERY poker forum ive ever been to including 2+2 and pckt5's.2 of the biggest........but cmon we're al r/x guys here, no reason we cant all talk poker inspite of our views on this subject........

all these stats.can somebody please post some stats that tell me why so often i get to the big crucial hand of the tourny and shove my chips with a big pr somebody calls me with a lower pair and hits the set EVERY MF'N TIME!!!!!!!!!! Again last night it happened.....QQ vs JJ for all the chips and THE1ST FRICKIN CARD OFF THE DECK IS A J!!!!!!! 2 big hands in the satelites for the WSOP event in new orleans...JJ vs 77.He flops a 7...another big pr vs 4's i think and HE flops a 4......i am seriously waking up in the middle of the night with dreams of people knocking me out by hitting a set on the flop.......im going crazy!!!!! Every major game i have played in the 6 months or so has ended the this wayit seems........im really and truly beginning to think GOD is trying to tell me to quit poker and this is his way of driving me out..........im scared to play another live tourny at this point cus im afraid ill go postal if i see 1 more set hit on the flop for all my chips.........and this has nothing to do with rigged vs notrigged.....its happening EVERY game live or online.......id almost cheer at this point when someone draws out on me with a straight or a flush or something!!!! ANYTHING but another damn 3 of a kind...SOB!!!!!!!!!!!! :nopityA:

Primetime,
Tell me what does not make sense about a Poker site wanting to create as much action as possible , thus having more people go in against each other , thus causing more BUY-INS.
I cant wait to hear this!
You gotta be kidding if you don't think this is done at these sites!
And no , im not a loser at online poker , I dont even play it much at all.
Im just a realist with some common sense!

record,

1- There are enough bad players willing to juice pots with crap, there isn't as much need to rig the games.

2- If it was ever leaked that a site was rigged, they would stand to lose hundreds of millions. And in Party Poker's case they stand to lose billions.

3- If any site was rigged you would think that some disgruntled employee would leak this information. THere are tons of sites with tons of programmers and tons of high up employees. They apparently can keep a secret better than the CIA.

4- You obviously didnt look at my stats. I have proof over almost 100,000 hands that i get certain hands as often as i should and those hands win at the statistically correct rate.

5- Just because a company has the means to cheat to make a higher profit does not mean it will all the time. Of course a site COULD rig their deck, but in my vast experience with online poker (significanly more than you) i have not seen a pattern of rigging. I have played at almost every network and the stats are all the same. I can't vouch for EVERY single site. It is possible that some random start up poker site could be rigging their games or using bots. But as long as you play on the major sites, i can assure you that the games aren't rigged.

So everyone can either believe the facts that i posted or go with your "common sense."

PPP- I know you like to think that this argument is futile. I disagree. I have seen many players eventually realize that the games aren't rigged. most logical people eventually concede to the vast amount of statistical data in support of online poker and understand that the conspiracy theorist have nothing but a few bad beat stories to back up their claims.

And i am sure you are going to post up the stats to back up your claim later on in this thread.

The only people that i have met that thought online poker was rigged were losing players. For some reason, i don't think thats a coincidence.

The last statement here is as true as it gets. I have similar Pokertracker stats of about 100K hands over the last 2 years.

Did you see that amateur on ESPN last night? I think he could see the cards that were coming too. :puppy:

That was a live game, on TV. What would you say if he was

playing on-line?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

This was NOT an amateur I played against. New players make many mistakes but they make them EVERY hand because they don't understand yet.......... and you are also confusing ring games and tournaments, they are COMPLETELY different.

I just thought he was too funny, “Ok, I will re-raise 4 more orange chips. Sir you must raise 8 orange, OK make it 10 orange then,”<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
All on an inside strait draw, up against 2 pair and a strait made. And at the end he was the chip leader.<o:p></o:p>

I'm at work right now, but when I get home I'll post a hand I had last night that backs you up Primetime.
But for now, you are my new hero.

Well, since this place is mostly for sports betting, I decided to post just the facts of this hand at every major poker forum I could find. None of my opinions, just the facts, so as many people that play online can see and decide for themselves.

LOL.......primetime21 talking about "common sense".....now that is just too funny:missingte

This is so fuckin sad, a frickin stupid post gets this many responses and discussion. I have over a million hands in my databases, everything seems in line, many many more players do to, if games were rigged, somone would have spotted it by now. Sites have NO NEED to rig games, they get max rake a majority of the time anyway, especially at the low limit games where a flop is always seen.

Used to a guy would come in here and call me a moron saying it was rigged and they would say just look at Enron they were making all that money but were still greedy enough to make more. ENRON WASNT MAKING ANY REAL MONEY, PARTY POKER AND OTHERS ARE MAKING MILLIONS/BILLIONS, no need to risk.

Born2Run-if you posted this at 2p2, I'm sure you were called an idiot or not even replied to.

The biggest and best poker forum out there is twoplustwo.com. Many of the best online poker players in the world post on that site. Please attach a link of that thread you started so we can see the replies.

Well hell lets keep it going then..lol Now dont misread what im about to say. im not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone im only pointing out that a few of these theorys dont hold water in my opinion
...
1st..."Party has no reason to rig games they are making millions"....Cmon!!! you ever heard of a corporation that said "o we making plenty" ???? the very nature of a corp is to bleed every last dime of profit from EVERY concievable angle...
I once attended a Whirlpool seminar, the guy told us they sell 11 million dryers a year. they have a full staff of 6 figure engineers who's job it is to make that dryer cheaper to manufacture. if 1 of those guys finds a way to save 1 screw thats 11 million screws they save...
Now you dont believe Party has people doing the same thing?? you dont believe that ever in not 1 of their meetings someone hasn't suggested that they " juice" the games to increase interest, rake, deposits, rebuys or whatever?????

I'm not saying they do it, I AM saying its inconcievable that they havent tried to do it, experimented with doing or whatever the case may be. thats their buisness they have to work every angle at showing more profits monthly.

2nd..."if word got out"

Now wait a minute, on the entire internet i would venture to guess an " online poker is rigged " thread is started every 30 mins at least...WORD IS GETTING OUT...enough people choose to ignore it that it has little effect.start a thread saying your an ex-employee and it will get no more traction than any other....AGAIN im not saying they are right im just pointing out that what you say would destroy online poker is actually happening everyday and is having little if any effect. true a 60 mins expose might carry more weight but still thousands of people daily are screaming online poker is rigged....Not many people listening.......

3rd..F 2+2.....half the people there dont even play poker their full time job is to wait for someone to post anything then jump in and see who can call him the most names the quickest and try to make believe in their own minds that must be great poker players cus they know more than this guy who just posted....

You get the same response there to a rigged thread as you do to a did i play this hand right thread....your an idiot...take up knitting....i fold that hand pre flop everytime, your a donkey .and of course the ol favorite...come play in my home game. BORING!!!!!

ppp, its very lazy to just say that online poker is rigged. Its another to prove it.

Get pokertracker import a 50 thousand hands or so and come back with your proof. If the games are rigged it should be easy to find.

PS- I saw two of the forums that born posted his hand and none of them are backing up his claim that the hands looks suspicious.

Agree 100 %

I think Matt and PPP and others have played enough games online to know it's not rigged.

Born2Run you just ran into someone with a big bankroll like PPP said.

A $20 bet to someone that plays 20/40 30/60 50/100 is peanuts.
If he called you for a pair of Q's after 5th street he still had a chance at runner/runner for the flush and had what he may think is a over card on your qq with his K and paid the 20. then after hitting the 3 for a st8 draw you know will call the 20........And hit the 5 on the river

Your reply should be NH and move on

Harrington vol 2.....really been a breakthrough for me.. also you have to concentrate on getting in some steals,,,,anytime its folded to you in late position you have to consider attempting a steal, especially once the antes start and the pots are huge...this means watching ur potential steal victims and seeing who you can take a shot at and wat it will take to get em to lay down......you'll lose a few like this sometimes but when you win you'll finish much higher...remember finishing 3rd twice is better than finishing 9th 5 times.....gotta loosen up down the stretch
