Yes, Wilmore should have been chastised more than he was. He did get some blowback, but not enough, IMO. That was a comedy dinner though, not a Political rally. Bottom line, Wilmore should not have went there.

I thought I made it clear they should have both been chastised, Only difference was the Venues. Off color racist crap is somewhat expected at the Wash Press Dinner. That doesn't make it right, just distasteful. It is NEVER appropriate at a Campaign rally.
