I've been sick hearing about it...Where are they now on this? My proposal would be to strictley enforce the laws on the books now and to let the ileagals have 30 days to register or get there green card or what ever.
It seems it would be next to impossible to arrest everyone now.

Pat, this issue is very complex and in many ways so toxic, even Reagan screwed it up. Back then, they offered amnesty for illegals, which is not a 'bad' policy (certainly not the worst): cut your losses and move on. Only one problem: nobody bothered to seal the borders!!!! Not Reagan, not Bush Sr, not Clinton and not even Dubya. So now, it's the same shit all over. I heard in 10 years, you guys could be faced with 30 more MILLION!

I say seal the borders FIRST. Once that's done, then start dealing/negotiating with the ones already here. I believe this is the position of the GOP, if I'm not mistaken. I just hope enough RINOs don't sell everyone out.

Ah well, you could do a lot worse than Mexicans. Imagine if these people were Muslim!
