That Calgary ending helped the total pucks but sucked since they were cruising to a win-was even more shocked @ buffallo-had a very good lead and choked

St.L to win over L.A.: Blues can score and come off tough game vs. Detroit, L.A. goaltender plays smaller than his size in net not good for a team that is clicking on it's PP, Blues win.

St.L/L.A. over 5.5 goals see above

congrats on your parlay jstack

sat picks:

Vanc to win over Edm: Vanc on a 3 game losing streak but now are at home, with P. Demitra injury look for others to step up, Oilers do not backcheck well and vs. Canucks that should spell another Oilers loss, plus Oilers players are playing through injuries and are not as effective. Play Vancouver to win.

Boston to win B's finally get to play a team that's not hungry to score goals previous losses to Buff and Toronto should have Bos more focused here, Chara will be the key to stifling Atlanta's offense. Play Boston to win.

Mtl to win over Ana: Ducks played last night and won over Ottawa should be tired here, and that's not good having to travel, play on consecutive nights, vs. a home team with strong home ice advantage and excellent team depth. Montreal wins.

NJ/Phi over 5.5 goals Based on Philly's porous goaltending, and ability to score to compensate, plus NJ starting to score in bunches, this game goes over 5.5 goals.

thanks all,

Ottawa to win over Buff: Ottawa playing like crap, Buffalo doesn't lose so bet Buffalo right, wrong Ottawa lost last game to hated division rival leafs that should be motivation enough for a win over the Sabres, but we have a bunch of favorable situations for Ottawa, goalie Auld 4-0 career vs. Buff lost last time out to Colorado scoring only 1 regulation goal, Sabres should be rusty here. I also like the way Ottawa was playing in the latter 10 mins of last game vs. Leafs. that should carry over here as Sens give Buffalo it's first regulation time loss of the year.

Edm to win over Boston: B's last time out played Atl and were down 2-0 in the 1st period, but came back to win it. Bos has been actually playing poorly as of late losing 2 games back to Toronto 4-2, then allowing Atl to score 4 goals in a 5-4 bos win. Their shoddy defensive play will hurt them vs. an Oilers team coming off a loss last game. I like the way Edm was scoring last time out 3 goals, and they were in the game until the 3rd period. Also strength of schedule heavily favors EDM here played Colorado and a Vancouver team that needed to win. Edm off of 2 road losses now get to play at home where they are normally a tough team to play. Play Edm to win.

thanks artie looks like you had a very good night yourself, good job.

Tor/Tbay under 5.5 goals Tor style of play they will limit Tb's scoring chances, and for some reason i'm thinking Cujo might start in net, tor's goaltending is a plus. Tb can't score shutout in 2 of last 3 games. Tor offense had a lot of shots on net vs. Ottawa but only scored 3. Here is a small letdown spot for Toronto, as they are coming off a huge win over hated division rival Ottawa. Play on the under 5.5 goals.

Nash/Wash over total goals Nash can score and play shoddy defense, same with capitals, no ovechkin but caps have many other scoring weapons, play the over total goals.

nash/wash: over and wash to win

But in the last five games they preds have allowed at least three goals, nashvlle is making unforced errors and making mistakes in coverage,
But unforced mistakes caused problems again. Coach Barry Trotz blamed the last two Los Angeles goals on coverage issues. if we don’t play a full 60 minutes we’re not going to win. I think we have to learn from this fast or we’re going to be in trouble.”—RW Jerred Smithson, on the Predators’ habit of giving up late goals. Alexander Semin has kind of quietly flown under the radar the last few seasons. But his teammates and opponents certainly appreciate him, and his strong early season play has been crucial for the Caps The winger finished with a goal and two assists and has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in his first eight games.

math model:

wash 5 nash 3----75% wash win; 75% over
wash 3 nash 6
wash 4 nash 3
wash 3 nash 2

wash 4 nash 3----75% wash win; 75% over
wash 2 nash 5
wash 3 nash 2
wash 4 nash 2

play wash to win
play wash/nash over

phi/atl: under 5.5 goals sides-no opinion

G Kari Lehtonen, who sat out for the first time this season in Saturday’s game in Boston, had made a league-high 234 saves before getting the night off. key is he should play tonight. RW Colby Armstrong was forced to briefly leave Saturday’s game against the Bruins in the third period after his head was slammed into the glass on a hit by Boston D Zdeno Chara. He returned a few minutes later without an apparent injury. if he plays he should be ineffective. before back-up goalie last game and previous detroit game scores were 1-0, 3-2, and 3-2(otl), flyers are 10-0 last 10 meetings vs. atlanta, under is 7-1 last 8 meetings. Antero Niittymaki is 9-0 vs. Atl with a 1.68 g.a.a. and a .940 save % career vs. Atl.

math model

phi 0 atl 3-----50% phi win, 100% under
phi 1 atl 3
phi 4 atl 0
phi 4 atl 1

phi 3 atl 1-------75% atl win, 75% under
phi 3 atl 4(ot)
phi 2 atl 3
phi 0 atl 3

play on Phi/Atl under 5.5 goals
