This is the sorriest analysis, and I’m a little ashamed of it, it’s smoke and mirrors now …SMU coach Rhett Lashlee is talking up Clemson coaches and team. Clemson has a deficiency on defense, they can’t tackle. K Jennings is going to own this Clemson defence. Clemson is coming off a disappointing loss to South Carolina, in a game where there were multiple questionable coaching calls, in fact all of Clemson loss have been the result of bad defense and questionable coaching. Brashard smith is going to own Clemson defense, he is a star in the making and this is his game to shine thrashing a weak Clemson run defense, Clemson has only been at dog numbers once this season and they were pulverized, SMU is playing their best football, their defense has stepped up in the last two games, there only loss by a single feild goal is what stopped them from running the table this season.

Only viewed 1 SMU game this year. I was shocked at their speed. I agree that they will win. IMO Clemson defense will have issues with SMU all night.

I’m in the same camp of thought, SMU recruited some real speed from the Florida area. Clemson is very bad on special teams, prior to this they had both an outstanding offense and defense to subsidize this deficiency, with the bad coaching this year, this will be magnified. They also lost their best redshirt freshman CB to the portal this week, I don’t think that will leave a sour taste in their mouth, also intesting is their basketball team is on the rise and cannibalizing their fan base’s attention. Now there are also things going on behind the scenes, the committee is looking for an avenue to route Alabama into a playoff game, I hope that SMU does not become a Sacramento lamb.

SMU was official ranked 8th in the nation a few hours ago, this is huge for this bet. It set them up for the big pay off game vs inbredbama. It’s opens up NIL deals galore. College football is very dark under the surface.
