Despite some missing information after being absent for over a week I think
I see some nice values for the 5th round.

Koper - Interblock

From what we've seen so far by both teams this could be a lowscoring draw,
as they are having real troubles scoring (especially Interblock). X2 therefore
looks a valuable choice, as Interblock showed some dangerous situations
in their games, also against Gorica and away at Drava, but failed to score.
Rakovic and co. will score more eventually and I see a good chance to do so
already in Koper. Koper still forming their team and therefore no big force
however they managed to collect 7 points already, also after winning vs
Maribor, more than luckily.

Domzale - Maribor

Odds @2.00 for Domzale are nice against any team (from Slovenia of course
icon_idea.gif
)
They just may have started the new marching in Lendava (6-0 vs Nafta).
Maribor showed thehy're capable of different results, but this time it'll be a
difficult job to get anything from concentrated Domzale.

Livar - Primorje

Livar playing 3 difficult game this week and after losing the 1st 2 I don't see
a successful third either. They lost Important Bogdanovic and Mesanovic for
the game and knowing they have the weakest team in the league this fact
could be decisive.
Primorje under the command of Prasnikar knows how to play strategic games
and I'm expecting a better away team in this game, but as Livar wants to
earn their 1st point in the league it can prove difficult for Primorje. X2 here,
but too low odds.

Drava - Nafta

Two teams losing their coaches after losing identically 0-6.
Drava already signed the former great NT attacker Gliha as the new coach
and Nafta is still without a coach...
Nafta lost their best man so far Trenevski and I don't see much chance for them
in Ptuj, but on the other hand this could be a defending matter where the first
aims will be not to lose the game. However it's more possible that Gliha will
dictate an offensive game from the beginning and take the three point.

Gorica - Celje

Celje full of self confidence after the 6-0 win are returning to the place they
won 3-1 in the April game. It was a big surprise for many people, but I
wrote here about coach Pinni returning to his place of glory, where he took
several championship titles with Gorica.
This year Pinni and his team are again in good shape at the right moment
and Gorica will be exposed to yet another tough encounter.
Gorica showing they're a tough team again, but their scoring is tough as well
and now that Celje's attack started functioning (even Rusic scored
icon_smile.gif
) I'm
expecting a leveled game, where the guests coach will know how to handle the game.

I see nice value in Celje not losing, which can be found @1.80 atm, but Pinnacle
will surely come up with even a better offer imo.

Skocic, the coach, Rakovic and co have used much of the credit by their management,
especially considering all the money invested in them. I stressed the false
favourite role of Interblock at the beginning of the championship, as you cannot
expect sudden great results of a team, simply because of some new "star"
names in the team, without forming and training it first.
Interblock was very lucky to collect 4 points from their 2 introductory home
games, even though Rakovic, Jolic and co showed some very good action,
but without finishing them.
The luck from the beginning was all gone vs Gorica (0-1), again also stressing
their scoring problems.
Following their performances from the beginning I have to say though, they
have shown some potential and they simply have to start collecting more
points and at least not lose at the still messed up team of Koper.

Koper showed an agressive game at Primorje, from the right beginning, but
there are still holes in the defence and they still lack some necessary players
to become a real threat in this league.

Interblock being lead by their skilful forward Rakovic has imo a good chance
to improve their collection of points against Koper. Odds @1.86 for the DA
version are simply very good for that.

I was too late to get this one and skipped it because the odds dropped way too much.

Drava - Nafta

0-6 to both teams in the last round and now it's for us to be smart
icon_smile.gif
. Let's
just try to put ourselves into their skins...

Drava signed the former, very successful NT attacker Gliha as the new coach.
Have to admit I'm not well informed about his coaching skills, except that he
was successful with the former number 1 Slovenian team of Olimpija to reach
the 3rd division (started in the 5th after the financial scandals...) and heard some
of his comments in the SLO 3 Programme, commenting on some (CL?) games.
Still my verdict would be ...an attacker who can't be defensively oriented
and wanting to start his job by taking the 3 points and to be honest, Nafta
is one of the teams that should suit him for the task, but...

Nafta looking even more messy at the time after Gjurovski left them...
I liked the idea of bringing him to be the new Nafta coach much, but now he
lost much credibility in my eyes, as after the many problems towards the end of the
past season I was expecting more "character" and an honest stepdown...
He stayed and showed even more stubbornness and arrogancy in his commanding,
which also made some players leave the team.
Story over and now they have to cope with Pef (Skaper) who in my and in
the eyes of Prekmurje people even has more value than the opposite coach.
Pef is still the football icon who ownes the all time scoring record of SLO league
and another attacker on the bench who will try to prevent a loss in Ptuj today.
Nafta's team isn't that poor player wise as f.e. Livar and imo they'd only need
a good leader (coach) who sees their quality and will be able to use it also.
Ortiz, Kocsardy, Sebok and the rest of the field has already shown very good
games in the past and it's a fact they'll cross some plans even of the high
flying teams
with a positive attitude...
For today however I'm joining the rest of the home team backers and say
Drava with their new coach needs this win more and I can imagine a narrow
HW in the end.

Caution should be intact however as Drava hasn't shown a decent game
so far and the only win vs Interblock was a very lucky one as well, after
Interblock was the team with more and better chances... and Nafta already
showed successful defence already this season!

Livar having the least quality among the 1st league teams is proving each
round. All they have imo is to fight and earn a dropped point by some
unconcentrated opponent. I dooubt however it will be Primorje who would
be that generous.
Zatkovic and co, with all their premier league experience and a coach who
knows these kinds of chances must be used, should be a number too big
for an even aditionally weakened bad team.

I'm expecting a fighting home side, but also successful game for the guests
who should use their skills and experience and take the whole offer.
The -0.25 line is a very good one imo!
