Sorry to stir this up again bucs, but you were right the first time in making people choose their driver before the Pole. Although qualifying high usually only matters on smaller tracks, every pool or fantasy game Ive ever seen made you select your driver before the Pole, for exactly the reasons you originally thought, and second of all, you will have too many people with the same drivers because you know just about everyone is going to jump on drivers who are starting the race in the top 10. Not trying to sway your decision again, I could really care less, just wanted to let you know the original plan was much more professional.
ssi, I see we both agree on the issue that picking before qualifying is much more better, but we have to remember, there is only one race per week, and making the cutoff much higher than 15 could last forever.. Much different than the last man standing contest in which selections were made every day compared to only one race per week in this one.

ok guys, i appreciate the input, but as you well know, in these contests, we can never make everyone happy....although i try...
i am gonna go ahead and stick with the rules we have set forth right now, to start with, if we see that we arent dropping many contestants, i have already stated that we may change the rules for upcoming weeks, to expand the eliminated drivers, or when we choose....as long as everyone is aware before they choose their drivers....but one thing to remember, like the last man standing contest, reemmber everyone on the yankees? half the field eliminated the first day.....
let everyone choose the driver on the pole, and see him blow the engine 50 laps in, we will be all set....
lets just see how it goes this way for 2-3 weeks, and if a change needs to be made, i will be more than happy to do it...
LETS JUST HAVE FUN WITH THIS, AND NOT PICK IT APART....IT IS FREE MONEY THAT SIRBET WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GIVE US.....LETS TAKE ADVANTAGE...!!!
