Should Vince let Mike start in the All Star Game ?

Search
I say no.

After all, this is a <fans'> game.

The fans voted Vince, and he should start.

Jordan is a legend, but lets be honest, he is not what he used to be.

Vince had so many injuries last two seasons, he's been severly crticized lately, and watching him play since he came off the IL, I can tell ya that it is pretty obvious that he wnts to play, and he wants it badly.

So let him play. He deserve it.

What do you guys think.

I agree somewhat Teflon Don.

The only problem I have is the fact that Vinny has missed the majority of the season. The guy is great, and is an All-Star, but my personal opinion regarding All-Star Game material includes having played the majority of that particular season.
But it's votes that count, it is for the fans after all. They voted him in, so he should play.

This controversy over whether Vince should have given up his spot to MJ is BS. Iverson did it, MJ turned it down. McGrady did it, MJ turned it down. Vinny is a very quiet/media shy guy. I wouldn't be surprised if Carter did ask MJ to take his spot, and MJ refused (in a private conversation), and Carter kept that to himself.

If you ask me, MJ is respecting the fans wishes, and showing his respect for both the game and the fans in doing so.

It's the All-Star game. It's for the fans. The rosters are voted in by the fans.
