secondly, i DID lose a bet against GAMEFACE. the bet was made during the heat of election day. i said if kerry did not win, i would not post at the rx again. at the time i made this bet, kerry was A BIG underdog. nevertheless, because of my disdain for dumbya, and the great hope i had to see him ousted, i made a stupid bet. i lost the bet. i stopped posting at the rx COMPLETELY. i was gone for about 6 weeks and at that point, gameface gave me a reprieve at my request. however, i HONORED the bet.

Find me one poll in the final 2 months of the race where Kerry was behind Bush by more than 5% and im being nice about treating anything over 5% as a big underdog. I'm not talking about gambling sense. I'm talking about actually polls taken leading up to the election since that is what counts. Kerry was neck and neck with Bush the entire way and +150 isn't that big of an underdog either. However that is up for debate. What isn't up for debate is unless you were wearing rose coloured glasses in no way shape or form did anyone in the Bush camp think they were clearly in front leading up to the election. If so why was there so much hype and hope for Kerry leading up to voting day. I don't remember the masses being so worked up in a frenzy over Michael Dukakis or Bob Dole both of those guys where big underdogs.
