And to the op who might want to lease the optima if 300 bucks per month is doable go for it. If yoi decide to buy the car at lease end you will still have seven years left of the 10 100,000 mile warranty left. If you see the book dropped a bunch after 3 years turn it in. Good luck !

It's a damn Kia. They've came a long way, but they still book drop drastically. Gotta be one of the worse cars to buy off lease out there.

Perfect. So he goes minimal out of pocket and is on the hook for 3 years under warranty the whole time. But no you rocket scientists are recommending to what ? Buy a used car for say 15 k with all the risk and that much dough tied up. That used car you just tied up 15 k suddenly needs a tranny and guess what ? 3 more g in the money pit.

I never said anything about buying a used car. Nothing wrong with leasing a Kia(make sure you give zero out of pocket), hell buy one if you want. One thing they do right is their 100k mile warranty. That's how they lure you in, remember you want $2500 extra for it. Highway robbery...

No, you said $450 a month for 60 months at 0.9% financing. 60x$450= $27000. That's $7k over the $20k sales price you stated. I'm sorry, but that loan is nowhere near that. 14x less than that, actually. So, yes, utter bullshit.

Here you want the numbers? 14 x less huh? I cant fix stupid but grasp this for every 1,000$ finaced on a 60 month or 5 year loan so you understand it is about 17 dollars a month. Tell me how simple numbers end up being 14× less than that? So are you telling me that to finance a car it is 3 bucks for every thousand financed? You just arent smart when it comes to these things. Its ok

What do you think a 7 year 100k bumper to bumper warranty costs ? Oh yeah 14× less right? Make sure zero oit of pocket ? Depends on payment. If zero out of pocket puts it oit of payment range whats the point? Face it you are not an expert

So, Its $461. You said $7k. Lol that's easily 14x to me, 15 actually. Been there done that...

bottom line is this, you've sold "thousands of cars" and screwed hundreds of people, with some buying your $2500 extended warranty that's worth nowhere near that, and can even be gotten for free, while you got me who knows enough not to fall for your bullshit antics and comical sales approach. End of discussion.

Best of luck to the OP of whatever car you decide on. I hope it treats you well.

Let's get back to that 7yr/100k Mile extended warranty you want to sell us for $2500. First that price is higher than giraffes pussy, and second, you know that is straight profit for you. I know people are suckered into it all the time, but it's negotiable, definitely not needed, and a huge sales trick for you to make a nice chunk of profit easily...pass!

You are a complete dumbass! You read the book on how to out smart the car dealer didnt you? More hard numbers for you, typical honda care 100k 7 year bumper to bumper warranty cost to dealer from honda 1000$. Yes you mark it up that is how the dealer attempts to make money. You dont need that for seven years cuz nothing ever breaks on your cars right? And if it does you have an extra couple g laying around for the mechanic right? Oh but wait i lease so my cars fit in the 3 year warranty period for nothing hmmmm

I don't want to be an expert. I stay away from stealerships as much as I can, only buying when I need to and on my terms.

It's not needed, it's an OPTION, and like I stated its way overpriced at $2500. You're a waste of time, and like I've seen others state, a waste of time for this site in general.

Ok smart guy you tell me how much 20k financed at 0.9% with zero down for 60 months is. You know why i ripped smart guys heads off like you when i sold cars? Cuz i could desk your deal in my head within 5 minutes of talking to you and figure out how smart you were or were not. You spit out numbers like 14 × less without knowing wtf you are talking about

It's arithmetic, bro. A lease is never going to be more beneficial than buying.

Right and i bumped him to 20 a month to add for tax, license and fees. You tell me is that 14× less lol
First, you said $20k financed. Second, tax, license, and fees here is $453, so $453/60=a whopping $7.50 more a month for a total of $348. Way less than $7k interest.

Usually when somebody knows they really dont know exactly what they are talking about they resort to the insults. Strong there buddy. So if you bought say a 40,000 dollar pilot 2,500 dollars is just way to much to cover it for 100k and seven years bumper to bumper?
