I have my biggest bet ever on Dallas to win the series at an average price of about -125. Do you think I should hedge some on Miami now at +416? Or should I wait? Or should I do nothing? Thanks a lot guys for your input.

Curt, you said you have your biggest bet ever on Dal to win the series. Did you make such a big bet with plans to hedge? If so then hedge. I think Dallas will win the series like most people do. BUT, there are no gurantees. If you can afford to lose the money you have riding on Dallas then I would let it ride. If losing the bet would be a disaster then I would suggest hedging.

I was planning to hedge if Miami was a +700 or so. It would not kill me if I lose but certainly would be a big hit. I was thinking if Miami wins 3 games,I would play Miami quite huge the next game hoping if it comes to that, it would be the 7th game not 6th. I would be worried then as Miami would have the momemtun so I would want to hedge some. So then I could at least get some money back or possibly win both ways if Miami covered the 5 points or whatever the spread is. However,I may not to even have to do that as I think Dallas will win in 5 or 6. What do you guys think of this plan? Thanks again.

I see Miami is now up to +508. Waiting to see if it will go up more.

I bought it at +104 when Dallas was still playing Phoenix and then again at -150 after they beat them.

Miami is +1010 to win the series in 6 games and +800 to win the series in 7 games. I was thinking of hedging Miami in 7 games as I figure if there is anyway they win the series, they will do so in 7 games. Thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks.

Brandon Lang absolutely loves Dallas in this series and isn't giving Miami a snowballs chance in hell. He is miraculous with his postseason picks on big events. He believes they are too slow and old plus a horrible match against the fresher Dallas with the better bench.
Plus when a team goes down 0-2 in an NBA best of 7 series over 80% of the time they lose that series.
Lang is taking Dallas SU tonight I've got a unit on the money line myself at +185 I see value there. Everyone is thinking Miami can't lose three in a row, especially coming back home. We all know Joe Public is always right. Good Luck to you, and if you do hedge I would considered hedging on Miami in seven at +800 versus +450 in either game 6 or 7. IF there is such thing as a lock, which there isn't, it's that Miami won't win four straight against Dallas in this years Finals.

Hedge the heat

I love this idea:

I Like hedging the heat in seven plus 800

then hedging the hedge on something else...maybe Miami in the first half??

It's a crap shoot, my man!

<!-- / message --></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> I agreed with montecristo and hedged Miami in 7 games for 500 and did not hedge Miami in 6. I still cannot believe that I lost it all here as Miami wins in 6. If they won,I figured that after being down 2-0,it would go at least seven. And then how they lost 2 of those games makes me sick. I just wish I would have hedged Miami in 6 also. Well, that is par for the course as far as the decisions I am making lately.
