I will let you guys discuss this, some of you call each other names and then I will come back and give you the correct answer.

Keep in mind; this is not the Hall of very good. He could start for any team in 2023 and by week 7 be 1 of the top 5 qb's in the NFL. Maybe the best qb in the NFL. Definately would be the best qb in 2024 if he played this year.

I know he didn't have nearly the effect on the game that say a Rhonde Barber had that is a selection for 2023.

NO. He didn't play long enough.

True story

I know Andrew Luck and have spoken to him several times. He may even be joining my rec basketball team in the near future

I think if you asked him if he belongs in the HOF, he’d say “fuck no”

Dumb question not even close
Career way too short and even if he had 5 more years exactly like his last 5 years still not a lock

Phillip Rivers probably won’t make it and he crushed luck in stats and over a longer period of time

And you can’t use the his team sucked angle

If we gonna go that route then you gotta put people in like Archie Manning.

I promise you if Archie Played for the stealers and Bradshaw played for the saints you probably would not even know who Bradshaw is and Manning would have been first ballot .

Dude get over it

It’s over

Go buy your Anthony Richardson jersey and move on

He’s gonna have to put on some weight before he joins my hoops team though. He’s lost a lot of weight since his playing days

The short answer is no, mainly because of his short career and not his talent. The Colts were 2-14 the year before Luck arrived. They went 11-5 is his first 3 seasons making the playoffs all 3 seasons and advancing to the AFC championship game the 3rd year. Luck missed the entire year after an injury in the 1st game at the start of his 6th season. He came the next year and led the Colts to a 10-6 record and a playoff spot. Luck was named Comeback player of the Year.

Luck played only 6 complete seasons taking his team to the playoffs 4 times including one appearance in the AFC Championship game. His record was 4-4 in the playoffs. Luck made the Pro bowl in 4 of his 6 seasons. Luck had 171 passing TD in his 6 years. That ranks second behind Dan Marino(196) for most in first 6 seasons. Luck threw for 23,671 passing yards in 6 years. That ranks 3rd behind Peyton Manning(24,585) and Dan Marino(23,856) all time in first 6 seasons.

Had he kept playing he was a lock probably for the HOF. But the shortness of his career and how he ended it will keep him out.
