Don't fool yourself. Ref's get calls like that wrong all the time...

I think you're fooling yourself if you think I was referring to anything other than a shot clock violation where it WASN'T close. They never get those wrong.

They also accept help from the other officials. There's no way all 3 of them missed that.

Same thing happened in Phoenix a couple weeks ago and the release was about the same amount of time late as this one. This was at the end of the 3rd quarter and the refs reviewed it and STILL called it good.

:ohno:

It didn't affect the outcome of the total but it just shows the incompetence of the officials.

its frustrating when bad call change the outcome of games like that, especially when you have money on it

I can deal with being unlucky but I agree, bad calls are frustrating. I had the under in the Devin Harris miracle 3/4 court shot about a month ago.. I couldn't help but just laugh that one off because that was insane.

26 seconds?? More like 24.2 seconds. It was the wrong call but at full speed it is incredibly hard to tell! You can't count slow motion time!! And refs only get one chance. You are letting emotion get in the way of reality and it's makin you paranoid!

i posted a thread here a few weeks ago about how silly it is that joey crawford is still allowed to ref spurs game after he tossed tim duncan last season for absolutely no reason (suspended for this). that being said i think it would be foolish to say that the refs are not capable of throwing or determining the outcome of games

Then you are blind. I watched the replay in fast speed, mega speed, light years speed, it all doesn't matter. Ray Charles could've told you it was a shot clock violation. It wasn't even close to eye deceptive....

Hahaha! I'm a realist! Watch it in super slow motion. Watch the clock on the scoreboard. The shot clock runs out at 3.2 seconds. The ball is out of finleys hand beteen 2.9 and 3.0 seconds. Go do a test and try to effectively gauge 2 tenths of a second. Then apologize for being a moron!

Moron? Really? Coming from the guy who's trying to refute the shock clock violation...I think YOU are the MORON.

Also, what tests needs to be done other than SHOT CLOCK SHOWS 0, Ball is still in hands, VIOLATION.

I said it was a violation but I'm saying it's not as obvious if u see it live and u only have a 2 tenths of a second gap. Sorry for the name callin. That was on called for. But can u refute the fact that it is incredibly difficult to judge 2 tenths of second?

if we're going by the video posted on the first page, the horn when the buzzer goes off is off. maybe the sound isn't synce, but there was no way of telling it was late in the video. In slow mo, it's definitely late.
