I decided to try my hand at online sports betting about a month ago, and I've been researching the sh!t out of it ever since. To date I'd say theRX is my best find. I've been reading back in many of the forums and learning a lot, but there's so many unanswered questions. I know I need to figure this out for myself, a push in the right direction can't hurt though (maybe linking to a relevant thread)

enough of my BS, here's some questions-

I don't plan on playing any smaller sites (say anything under a c on SBR, and most likely only B's and up). Of the big boys which ones get the most complaints from players? I've already read enough bad rewiews of Intertops and sportsbook.com to know I don't want any of that. Others?

Bonus terms- Some of these can be very confusing (even if I read them 5 times:icon_conf ) Some say no bonus for pros, fine I'm not one. How do they decide you're a pro? My bets will be pretty small, but I plan on being right more than wrong. Is that a pro? lol.

Reloads are really hard to figure out. They almost make it sound like only people constantly busting out are eligible. Example- My betjamacia new player bonus is almost played through. I plan on cashing out for now, most likely redepositing for NFL. How can I get a reload on this? Do any of the big sites routinely offer comeback bonuses if you've been away?

Document requests- How common are these? I'll be using neteller for everything and all my accounts will be on the up and up, but I really want to avoid this pain in the ass if possible. What typically triggers these, random? high dollar withdrawls? just winning period? Do some siters request documents more than others?

Site handicappers- I don't plan on riding someone's back into easy riches, but I'd like to follow a couple of the big boys to learn HOW and WHY they pick the way they do. I'm not asking for names or trade secerets here, more like a general idea of what to look for in a capper. (sorry, but most of the pick threads seem to be lovefests. I find it very hard to believe that all of these guys are winners.) Am I wrong?

Any help would be appreciated

Let's focus on the least complaints and how those few complaints are handled. Pinnacle sports is the most popular, but do they get complaints? Most certainly, but they deal with them very professionaly. WWTS is a top tier shop. They get complaints. They may be the best in handling complaints I have seen. Cris is a top book. They will get complaints, but they are as safe as any so they warrant a recommendation. Skybook is a very good book who's CS may be the best around. So if you have a complaint there, you can be assured of good service.

Bonus terms- Some of these can be very confusing (even if I read them 5 times:icon_conf ) Some say no bonus for pros, fine I'm not one. How do they decide you're a pro? My bets will be pretty small, but I plan on being right more than wrong. Is that a pro? lol.

Any book that you play with may in some manner reduice your limits if you are just to sharp. The fact is that the majority of books are looking for recreational players only and not pros. They can assume you are a pro if you are constantly beating them on moves or following steam plays. You may just be a lucky man and win big, but still considered a sharp guy.

Reloads are really hard to figure out. They almost make it sound like only people constantly busting out are eligible. Example- My betjamacia new player bonus is almost played through. Yes, most books who offer re-loads will give you another bonus as long as you met all requirements with the previous bonuses.

Document requests- How common are these? I'll be using neteller for everything and all my accounts will be on the up and up, but I really want to avoid this pain in the ass if possible. Neteller has in place a nice security system in place as is and you should not have to send ID to MOST books, but i would contact the book first to verify.

Site handicappers- I don't plan on riding someone's back into easy riches, but I'd like to follow a couple of the big boys to learn HOW and WHY they pick the way they do. We have a new tracking forum atop this room. Start there as all records are documented and there is no chit chat, just picks.

Good luck & hope I helped a little.

Nice info general. I am not too familiar, however, about this neteller situation. Can you go in detail about signing up and the ins and outs of the whole situation? Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the thread. Good info.

NETeller is all I have used and I've never had complaints or problems. Never had to provide documentation either.
